This company is like the local business where you feel comfortable hiring!! When speaking to Amber, the wife of the owner she is knowledgeable and very helpful in choosing what would be the best color and style while not pushing any particular style. Just listening to what u r looking for and directing you to it. Fred the owner is also very inciteful to what I wanted done. Gave several examples and prices along the way. No pushy salesman ! When the project manager came, Greg he was very pleasant and was hardworking. He past my expectations!! The deck is gorgeous and well built they do wonderful work and care about your project. They even cleaned up so you would never know they were here .. will definitely hire again if needed. I have already past them on to friends.

Very Professional. Worked well with the building inspectors etc. They designed and built a dock, and a set of stairs to the side entrance of my house. They removed a cantilevered deck and replaced it with a large composite deck, which stopped water leaks into my basement. They also rebuilt and painted a small cantilevered deck. Excellent work.

This is the finest contracting company - they completed the job in a timely manner. Some of the Best workmanship that we have ever seen. Fred, Amber & the entire crew were simply the BEST. We love our new deck & will call them again for future projects. Thanks again for a superb job !!!

This was an involved project, involving both the deck and fence replacement, which Steel Penn did, in coordination with a second contractor who installed a paving stone porch underneath the deck. Since that work had to be done after the demolition of the original deck, the work of the two had to be coordinated. The other contractor did not quite adhere to the schedule, and that held up the project overall a bit, but Steel Penn folks were willing to reschedule the various parts of their work, so the net effect was smaller than it might have been. We are very pleased with the new deck. They did a great job, and left a very clean worksite. One of our neighbors is already planning to call them!

Steel Penn is a top notch professional contracting company employing very skilled trades people. They refurbished the exterior of my guest house to my greatest satisfaction. They were always on time, courteous and gave me peace of mind that the job would be perfect. I would recommend them without any reservations.

So polite and prompt! And clean and neat! What a treat to find someone who could fix my problem quickly and well. Next time I need help I'm calling Fred. This was a small job (thankfully!) but he fixed a big problem for me - a leaning deck post. He came quickly to analyze the problem, proposed a solution and then got it fixed in about 2 days. I am very grateful.

Fred and his crew were very efficient, came everyday until job was complete, the crew was very polite and respectful and very good at what they do!

I had a house renovation done 8 years ago and the back porch and steps were not done properly. I felt as if they were unsafe and not very attractive besides. I called Steel Penn and had the owner come out and tell me what he could do to make our porch exactly what we wanted. I could not be happier with the end result. Our porch and steps are better than we could have ever imagined. The design is beautiful and with the suggested changes, we have the porch and steps that our home deserves. Everyone who has seen the work done has been impressed! I would recommend Steel Penn anytime, in fact, we are having them help us with our next renovation. The staff and workers were wonderful; so respectful, so professional; everything you would hope for and don't always get. 5 Stars for sure! Look no further if you want excellence!
