We are having major remodeling work done on our house with a number of complicated logistics involved (7 cats), which led to having to plan which rooms could be worked on at any given time. Everything has gone very well and the work is first-rate. Would use them again!

Not many companies have the capacity to be responsive & quick to take care of matters when multiple projects are going on simultaneously. Well this company is it... Never had to wait more than a day for a response. Sometimes this included weekends...because I BUTT pushed a number by mistake... Our family & family business has found the contractor we been looking for.... Furthermore, we recently has a drunk'in woman destroy the front facade of our tenants takeout...and we called these guys up...and got the place reinforced and boarded up within hours..and it was COLD outside too...we are looking to get is finished but the paper work is slower than a turtle by the tenants & adjusters... We are extremely happy with the work..Always remember.... you get what you paid for.... I am a former architect who left the field and know what it takes to get things done...

I had an idea in mind, and they expanded on it. Very helpful on selection of materials. They cleaned up after themselves and whenever a problem arose they handled it very well. Very pleased with final product. Bottom Line. Project manager was very good to deal with. Responded quickly. I have recommended them to friends.

We wanted to update our kitchen, installation of hardwoods on first floor and stairs. This was the best bid and the designer gave us great ideas and worked with us to make sure we had all the customization we wanted. He was always checking in and available during the remodel to discuss any changes or issues at they arose and worked to have them rectified. It was a great experience and we are working on a new project with them right now!

We wanted to remodel our 1990's era kitchen with a more modern look and to add appliances and features. We contacted Starcom Design/Build based solely on a recommendation from friends who had used Starcom for their remodeling projects. There are two aspects to a remodel project - design and execution - that require both to be top-notch to achieve desired ends. Tim Welsh delivered "five-stars" on the design aspect while the installation crew delivered "five-stars" on their work. There are so many choices and decisions that go into a kitchen remodel, sometimes making the process overwhelming. Tim worked with us to get through each and every one of those myriad decisions to deliver the kitchen of our dreams. All of the trades involved in the installation did an excellent job -- electrical, plumbing, cabinet installation, carpentry, granite countertop fabrication and installation, dry walling, painting and tile flooring. All installers were very professional and respectful of our home. They made every attempt to make a messy job not so. At the completion of the work, we couldn't be more satisfied -- the design, materials and the workmanship are all superb. The final cost of the project came in about what we expected, considering the upgrades and additions we made to the original concept design, and we were please with the value of the project. We would definitely recommend Starcom Design/Build to others considering kitchen remodeling work.

We wanted to update the look of our family room fireplace from the 1990's builder's red brick (it wasn't that ugly though) to something that had more modern look, add some pizzazz and that would provide a wider spectrum of décor color choices. After a couple of false starts (tried painting the brick - although a popular option these days, it just didn't achieve the overall effect we were after), we decided that we needed "professional help," so we turned to Tim Welsh at Starcom Design/Build to see what he would recommend. Since we had worked with Tim before in a kitchen remodel last year, we were hopeful that he could bring his design talent and experience to get us going on this new project. Tim Welsh selected stone ledger panels (color, style) and hearth stone (color, style) that addressed and met our expectations in our fireplace resurfacing project. My wife and I had previously selected several samples of stone, but Tim steered us towards one stating that the fireplace should be the focal point of the family room. Although the other choices were "OK," they just didn't provide the pop that Tim thought was needed. Tim also coordinated the design with the mason so that Tim's concept was fully understood by the installer. The quote for the entire project was very reasonable and the mason was able to work us into his schedule without a long delay in start time (about two weeks). We also agreed that I would provide a custom walnut mantel shelf that would be installed by the mason. The entire job took only one and a half days. The completed project turned out better than we imagined. The stone colors that Tim selected are perfect for our family room décor. The stone installation was done very, very well (installation of these stone ledger panels would seem to be easy and straightforward; however, they require a lot of cutting for a relatively narrow wall (6 ft), attention to proper bonding technique and materials, and dealing with the not-so-flat nature of some panels. All in all we couldn't be happier with the fireplace resurfacing job. We are so glad we called Tim at Starcom Design/Build to do the work. We highly recommend Starcom Design/Build for this and other remodeling/renovation projects.

Good price! We got 4 bids and they had the best price but their designer came out with ideas we didn't have that we love and made it much better!

They were friendly with me and got the right color. They did not try to rush me into a decision. They did a really nice job
