We had Star Dynasty Construction come to refurbish our front and back porches. Their work is exceptional and their attention to detail is top notch! We are thrilled with our house's update and we are so pleased with how efficient and professional this company has been! They were a pleasure to do business with and we will highly recommend them to others for future projects!

Star Dynasty Construction did an excellent job replacing my old deck. From start to finish, the team was professional, detail-oriented, and fairly priced. They showed up on time every day, worked through less-than-ideal weather, and completed the project exactly when they said they would. The quality of the workmanship is outstanding, and their attention to detail really shows in the finished product. Berta was especially great to work with—she was always communicative, responsive, and kept me informed throughout the entire process. I am extremely happy with the new deck and would highly recommend Star Dynasty Construction to anyone looking for reliable, high-quality work.

Repair a Deck or Porch

I am so impressed and very happy with my new deck. Berta and her husband are a great power couple and a great team! They went above and beyond and are very detailed. They were compassionate and so friendly. I love the composite deck and the color , they even built me a ramp for the same price ! I love my new deck with the beautiful white PVC rails and staircase. I even got my home power washed for free. Definitely hire them.they were a Blessing to me and They are Awesome!!

They started my porch project at 8am, and completed it by about 6:30pm. They took away all the debris, and did a great job.

Very happy with work done of replacing the deck along the canal in rear yard. Communication was great every step of the way. Completed on day and time they said with zero issues. Cleaned up everything like nobody was there. Highly recommend & will use again for future projects.

Criminal Background Check

Who does HomeAdvisor background check?

The owner or principal of each business in HomeAdvisor's network (with the exception of Corporate Accounts) must pass a background check. Unfortunately, we cannot perform a background check on every employee of a business—the background checks are performed only on the owner or principal. As always, we recommend that you conduct your own research on the businesses you hire, including making inquiries directly with the businesses regarding their employee background check policies.

What does the background check cover?

We use a third-party vendor to conduct a criminal records search in the county in which the business owner or principal works. Our third-party vendor uses a national criminal database ("NCD") to screen service professionals. Business owners or principals with felony arrests that carry a pending decision or who are convicted of felonies in the past 7 years ago will not be admitted to the network. Businesses or owners convicted misdemeanors or felonies, or who have dismissed charges or arrests on their records involving rape/incest, sex offenses, or lewd and lascivious behavior at any point in time will not be admitted to our network.

Our background check does not exclude service professionals unless the crime at issue is a felony.

*The comprehensiveness of the NCD varies by state. Please be aware that the reporting in the NCD is particularly limited in the following states: AL, CO, DE, GA, ID, IL, KS, LA, ME, MA, MI, MS, MT, NE, NV, NH, NM, SD, UT, VA, VT, and WY. After initial admission to the HomeAdvisor network, businesses are re-screened if a concern is reported to HomeAdvisor.

Corporate Accounts

Some businesses are employees, franchisees, dealers or independent contractors ("Corporate SP's") of larger national or "Corporate Accounts". When this is the case, we may match you with the Corporate Account or with one of their Corporate businesses. The above screening process does not apply to Corporate Accounts, as HomeAdvisor does not screen Corporate Accounts or Corporate businesses.

Verify Trade License HomeAdvisor checks to see if the business carries the appropriate state-level license. Verify Insurance As a part of our screening process, we encourage professionals to carry general liability insurance. We require coverage for hundreds of services. Verification of State Business Filings For business types that require a Secretary of State filing, we confirm that the business is in good standing in the state in which it is located. Criminal Records Search HomeAdvisor uses 3rd party data sources to conduct a criminal search for any relevant criminal activity associated with the owner/principal of the business. Sex Offender Search We confirm that the owner/principal is not listed on the official state Sex Offender web site in the state in which the owner/principal of the company is located. Bankruptcy Search We use 3rd party data sources to check the history of the principal/owner of the business for bankruptcy filings by or against them. Legal Search for Civil Judgments We use 3rd party data sources to check the principal/owner of the business for state level civil legal judgments entered against them. Liens Search We use 3rd party data sources to check the principal/owner of the business for liens placed against them. Identity Verification (SSN) HomeAdvisor verifies the social security number(s) of the owner/principal for identity check purposes. This check applies primarily to smaller business entities. Identity Verification (Reverse Phone Lookup) We conduct a reverse business phone lookup to identify records matching the phone number information provided by the business.
