Write a ReviewMy roof looks amazing! Two hurricanes last year and not a shingle moved- highly recommend!
Once again, I received a high quality job. Small project performed quickly and without issue.
The installers did a wonderful job, they arrived on schedule, were friendly, and did a great job keeping the area around the house cleaned up as they worked. They even went so far as to clean the driveway before I needed to leave for work to ensure that nothing got in my tires as I pulled out. The work they did looks wonderful. The reason for my 2* rating is due to the salesman and owner. While choosing a shingle color, we wanted a shade of gray but were not sure which color. Our salesman sent 3 different shades via e-mail, and we immediately ruled out the color of the first photo (it was much too light). We asked for samples of the second two colors so that we could see them in person. The day he was supposed to bring them, he let us know that he was unable to bring samples, but that he would send a bunch of photos of houses with those two colors. He sent two separate e-mails, each labeled with the color and photos of a house with those colors. We ended up choosing the color in the e-mail labeled Dual Gray. We signed our contract, and the work was scheduled and completed on Nov 22-Nov 23. Once the work was done and we came out to see the completed job, we knew there was a problem, and this was not the color that we had chosen. We looked through our e-mails and noticed that the e-mail that the salesman sent that was labeled Dual Gray did not match what had been installed on our roof. Looking further back, the original e-mail where we had immediately ruled out the first color was called Dual Gray. We called our salesman who came out on Monday to take a look and he quickly realized that he had miss-labeled the sample e-mails that he sent us on which we made our color decision. He admitted that he sent the e-mail while driving and must have made a mistake. He was very apologetic and told us that the company would make it right by either replacing the color with the correct color (which was called Charcoal Gray) or offering a $2,000 discount. We discussed it, and within about 2 hours, decided that we did not like the color and asked for it to be replaced. At that point, he called back and told us that it would be too expensive to replace and that was no longer an option. After several back-and-forth phone calls with both the salesman and the owner, they not only are refusing to fix the error but are now only offering $1,200 off of the cost instead of the original $2,000 discount that was offered. The owner admitted that he reprimanded the salesman for sending the incorrect e-mail while driving and that he should be paid more attention but is still refusing to fix the error. The owner is no longer working with us in good faith, has sent an invoice, and is telling us that we have no options and he will put a lean on the house if we do not just pay, despite admitting the error was theirs.
Had a roof inspection done by Sean because of bonking on roof during Ian. All is well and he explained what I heard. Came over very professional and friendly. They/he fit me in between all the repairs that are going on because of Ian and Nicole. I woll contact them in the future if I need them.
Jason did a great job for us. He went through all the information we needed to make a decision that worked for us and completed to job in a very timely manner in the most difficult time of the year in spite of a lot of rain. I would recommend Southshore Roofing to anyone that needs a roofing work.
I had an old roof that needed replacement, as home insurance would not renew due to roof age. So I had a new roof installed. Cory and the crew did a great job. I was able to renew my homeowners. The roof also looks great. It gave the house a great curb appeal. The crew was very professional. They showed up early in the morning and started working immediately. I have a smaller home, little over 1100 sq ft, and they were able to finish installing the new roof in a day! I was able to get a great deal for the money. I had estimates from other companies that were way too overpriced. If you are looking for a good price and a professional crew that will do the job right, the Southshore Roofing is a great choice. I would highly recommend!
Ultimate professionals, did everything for us. They made the process bearable!
The estimate was very thorough, listing all products and quantities planned for use, along with the steps to do the repair. The other contractor just provided a cost (which was over $800 more). Additionally, when second contractor asked for an additional day to revise his bid (which was granted), he never called back or provided a second bid. The Southshore team was responsive and all were professional. The work was completed within two hours with no mess left behind.
