Reviews
Write a ReviewShamrock Chimney did a great job cleaning our chimney. The technician arrived on time, explained the whole process, and worked very carefully to keep everything clean inside the house. They also showed us photos of the chimney and pointed out a few things to keep an eye on in the future. Very professional service and fair pricing. I would definitely hire them again.
Thank you for your review, Laura. We?re very glad to hear that you were happy with the chimney cleaning and that our technician took the time to explain the process and keep everything clean inside your home. Providing photos and clear information about the chimney?s condition is something we always strive to do. We truly appreciate your kind words about our professionalism and pricing. Thank you for choosing Shamrock Chimney, and we look forward to assisting you again in the future.
Got the job done quickly.
I hired Shamrock to remove a wood stove which included cementing off chimney pipes on two floors. The crew was knowledgeable and efficient. I had an estimate prior to the work starting. I recommend this business
Talk to the lady on the phone setting up an appointment for installation so everything would be great cuz they sounded professional and they sent literal crackheads to my house covered in tattoos clearly under the influence
Quickly came to our home during the holidays.
The company came to give me an estimate for a chimney installation and I ended up agreeing to them installing a wood stove and a chimney in my basement at a very high price. They finished the job in two days but left garbage in the backyard and there were issues with the workmanship. I complained and they were back within a week to fix it to my satisfaction. I was promised that they would pull the permit for the job so that it could get inspected and my insurance company could be notified. It is now 3 months later and I am still having trouble getting the company to fill out the permit to the specifications of my town building inspector. Over the last month I have repeatedly called, texted and emailed and I've been getting the runaround. I paid them $10,000 for a chimney and an $800 wood stove and installation which is excessive. That is my error into agreeing to it. And now I'm not even sure that the job was done correctly. I do not recommend this company to anybody
Friendly staff. They even installed chimney caps in ice and snow.
Installed a chimney sleeve but left gaps. Tore the sleeve. I had a Professional come out and look at Shamrocks work. They said there are gaps. Called Shamrock back and because I had a second opinion on their work it voided my warranty. If shamrock did the job right I wouldn't have to get an inspection. Another issue with Shamrock. Had multiple appointments but an hour before they said there so called professional couldn't make it. So instead of going to work I waited for them to cancel. Three times. Shamrock is a company I hope you never have to deal with.
The work was supposedly finished by fall but several return trips had to be done because the chimney leaked on to my brand-new wood stove and into my house. My chimney still leaked when the snow started to fly, then the contractor said it was to dangerous to get on the roof with all the snow. They came back when the roof cleared in late Feb to "seal the leak". We had a big rain a week later and my chimney still leaks,(you saw the latest video). Water still comes in when it rains.
I had a terrible experience with this so-called "special promotion" for a routine cleaning that ended up costing me $1,150. The technicians who came to my house were friendly and professional, but the real issue lies with their so-called "project manager" Danielle and the rest of the company. The work was incomplete, and when I requested an invoice and pictures, I received the pictures immediately but had to wait days for the invoice. When it finally came, it was clearly doctored?showing work that wasn't completed and pricing that didn?t match what I was told. I had to call them five times to speak with her, who was unhelpful and clearly didn't know how to do her job. The invoice listed charges for installation and chimney caps, which were supposed to be free according to the technicians. When I raised this concern, they denied everything and were extremely dismissive. To make matters worse, I even sent them a video of the technicians confirming the free items (captured by my Ring d
