Selective Remodeling

I hired them to remodel my bathroom and to replace the kitchen countertop as well. Mike was extremely helpful from day one. He helped me pick out everything I needed including a beautiful granite countertop. The end result was amazing, and I love my new bathroom. Everything was done in a timely fashion and all the workers were very professional, neat and all showed up on time. Mike coordinated everyone, stopped by several times and was always available to me. I would highly recommend this company and would reuse them for any future jobs I may have. Thank you Selective Sculptures!!

They are not finished yet .... Another week to go

The high ratings for this business are absolutely justified. The work is of the highest quality and the installers were exemplary. I am going to do a remodel of my bathroom and I will definitely have this company do the job. It is such a wonderful and rare occurence to have such a stress-free experience when doing any kind of remodel/renovation project! Very satisified.

The contractor came well recommended, and overall the materials and most of the workmanship were very good to excellent. My criticism concerns the inability to keep to a schedule. 3 weeks were projected for the project, but from beginning to very end it was 6 weeks. It did not help that the initial point man for the job quit after one week, dropping the job into the lap of the owner. There were problems with the workers handling the mirrors, maybe due to poor communication or a poor choice of subcontractor, but the effect is a dissatisfied customer. I will add that the mirror workers made too many errors in sizing up the work, and completely dropped the ball in constructing a frame for an existing mirror. I believe the worker just didn't want to do the work. I did the work myself as well as moved an electric socket to accommodate an incorrectly cut mirror ( an amateur mistake). Finally, some of the cabinet work was off center, which I corrected myself, not because it did not fit, but because it was sloppy work. I do neater work and am not a professional carpenter. On the plus side, the cabinets, sinks, plumbing and counter tops were first rate. No problems or complaints. The shower stall, including tile work, was superb. First rate stuff. So, it was mostly hit, but too many "misses" to give an excellent rating. If the mirror work was done correctly, I would give a 4 or 5 star rating. The owner was sincere and tried his best to accommodate me, and I know running any business has its surprises and headaches, often unavoidable. Still, a top rated professional should have the great majority of the "bugs" worked out at this level.

Mike Patti worked closely with me from the start as it relates to the work being done in my home. He coordinated everything and made frequent stops to be sure things were running smoothly and I was happy & comfortable with how things were progressing. Mike was always available to address any of my questions or concerns and was very reassuring. He is wonderful to work with.

I was very impressed by this company we had a complete remodel of our bathroom and it looks amazing. Working with Mike, Jim, Justin, Herin and the rest of the crew was wonderful. I never thought my small bathroom could look so good but they made my dream come true. I would definitely recommend them to anyone that needs a gut and remodel of their bathroom.

Very happy with the work. Would of been nice if they told us what kind of paint to use because the one we bought wasn't the greatest. But besides that everything came out great.

Selective Sculptures did an exceptional job with the removal and installation of porcelain tiles. I would highly recommend them.

Because we had so much water damage over the years we knew ahead of time that our floor joists were bad. They came and practically rebuilt all the structure. Amazing. They were prompt , courteous and very skilled from the carpenters, tile men, plumbing, electrician, customer service and the foreman was the best. Kept in constant contact with me and kept the project on time. . I love my new bathroom n walk in shower. I would highly recommend this company for any remodel We liked them so much we r now having our kitchen gutted and remodeled. Best company on Long Island in my opinion.

Thank you to the worker who convinced me that the countertops ordered were the right ones even though the crystals and specks weren't visible because it was raining! Once under the lights in my kitchen, you could see the true beauty of the Blue Pearl GT. Both the worker and his brother installed the countertops with precision and care. Please thank these two gentlemen for a job well done!
