Rebuilt second story deck, redesigned drainage, removed dry rot, replaced siding. Sobi was great to work with. He took time to review the project with me and provide feedback. He also discussed progress with me as he and his crew worked. He is diligent in wanting to do the job right with high quality. I would definitely hire him again and I have. Hired for a Paint or Stain Exterior -Sobi did a great job painting the exterior of my home. He took the time to prep, including replacement of squirrel chewed trim, before starting the actual painting. He talked to me about the process each day and worked with me on the paint color selection and also discussed paint brand quality. He always listened and discussed the choices with me. I was kept well informed through each step of the process. This project lasted 3 weeks from start to finish and he did a great job in also keeping the site tidy from day to day. Hired to Remodel Kitchen- I hired Sobi to remodel a small guest house. He replaced the entire kitchen, all light fixtures, electrical, all flooring and painted the entire interior. It has turned out so much better than I ever imagined. He took the guest house from 1990 to 2017. Sobi took me to look at and select the cabinets and natural stone for the countertops. He went above and beyond working with the Town to apply for and obtain a permit. It took hours to go through the process and he patiently waited and worked with the Town to make sure the permit was for the guest house, not the main house, and for my house (not a neighbors house). We ended up having to replace the electrical panel, but that was accommodated by Sobi and Nick the electrician. Third project Remodel bedrom-Sobi remodeled a bedroom that I have turned into a home office. The room is an addition from a previous owner and had only been minimally remodeled in the past. He textured the walls, changed out all electrical outlets, light switch, and light fixture. He added additional electrical outlets and replaced the closet doors. He then painted the entire room, priming and painting a built in book case. It turned out great. There had been some patching some water damage by a previous owner that you can no longer tell was ever there. The room is now modern and a great place to work at home.

Sobi takes great pride in his work and it shows. He really cares about quality and our satisfaction with the result. For example, we decided we wanted the top rail of our new deck to be a darker color and bought a couple of stains that just weren't quite right. Sobi went and bought stain on his own, told us it would be on his dime if we didn't like it, and of course, it was perfect. We weren't able to see what we wanted, but Sobi got our vision and went the extra mile to make sure we were satisfied. He is delightful to work with and we highly recommend him.

Select Craftsmanship did a very professional job on our project. The job was done when they said it would be, and Sobi (the contractor and owner) was on-site for all of the work, doing much of it himself. He was very meticulous in documenting problem areas that were uncovered during demo, and in suggesting and implementing proper ways of addressing the issues. He was very sensitive to our wants regarding the cosmetics of the repairs and went the extra mile to be sure that we were happy with the results. In addition to all this, he is a very nice guy and a pleasure to work with!
