We started with hiding cords for our 2 TVs and they did such a great job we added extra outlets in the closet for my vanity as well as the garage for our spare fridge. They were very honest about every step and pricing along the way-some people like to hit you with an extra bill at the end. Love transparency and honest work!

Outstanding service at fair prices We had a complicated project to hang three Murano glass-style jellyfish lights with neon tentacles. Each light weighed about 20-25 lbs and had individual neon tentacles that were a few feet long. And we wanted them hung from a double height ceiling about 20 feet high. Sel Electric came in with a fair bid, exuded the confidence of being able to handle the job well and were the only ones to look into our attic crawl space to figure out how to handle the project. You might think it was easy to find electricians to do the project. It wasn’t. Driving back with the lights over four days from New Orleans (where the artist lives) to San Diego was easier. Two other electricians came over to offer bids. One gave us the same quote as Sel initially but then after he left, he doubled it. The other electrician declined to handle the job, fearing breakage. At least five other electricians we reached by phone declined to even stop by, worried about the logistics and breakage. A few suggested we needed to hire someone to build scaffolding. Sel used a tall ladder. Glad we found Sel. Respectful, kept the work area clean (no paint touchups needed!) and showed up when they said they would. Plus they fixed our doorbell that had been broken for months. Another electrician had fiddled with it a month ago, said he would come back and then ghosted me.
