Sam Rafferty responded quickly to my request for a quote on my driveway paving project. He was professional and delivered on his promise to complete my project quickly. He listened intently to my project plan and his crew executed exactly to my expectations. The project site was left clean and ready to go. They are very dependable and do exactly what they say they are going to do. I highly recommend them. We had just over 13,000 square feet done about 2 weeks ago and it looks amazing.

Quick and reliable

The crew was organized and focused, We were amazed at how fast they worked. the clean up was also excellent. We now have an excellent driveway very accommodating for our family & guests.

Absolute rip-off. I trusted this company and he quoted me $9500 but discounted me to $8700 to widen my driveway with asphalt. He did not put the square footage into the contract. He said that the job would be done in a few weeks but showed up within 3 days to do the job. I guess he did not want to allow me any time to get other quotes. It turns out that the normal rate for this work is about $10 per square foot (per other quotes). I discovered that he put down about 550 square feet of asphalt so the job should have costed about $5500 to $6000. So he was $2700 higher than anyone else. He also charged $1000 to seal the driveway. I have since had quotes for that in the range of $600. If you look at other reviews, Mr. Rafferty did the same or tried to do the same to other people. I know that the rule is "let the buyer beware" but companies such as Rafferty Paving SHOULD NOT BE ALLOWED to be on sites such as Home Advisor. I tried to appeal to Mr. Rafferty to get some of my money back but he ignores my emails. Next step is the BBB, yelp, and any other media outlet that I can find.

They were very professional and job was done ahead of time. Also, I received three estimates and all were the same amount of paving Rafferty had the best price.
