AQ PAVERS

I got quotes for a hard scape project. The AQ quote came in right on par with other quotes for the same job, but turned out to be way too expensive for me to fund entirely. But Ana and team worked with me to pull off the most crucial portion of the project that I could afford. The result is beautiful - a wonderful parking strip curb made of pavers set in a concrete foundation. The look is outstanding and extraordinary care was taken to shape the pavers around a curve and keep the tops of the pavers level even though the ground was not. Highly recommended.

Awesome work

AQ Pavers installed a back patio for us. Ana and Martin were very professional, timely, respectful and communicative. They know exactly what they're doing and I really can't say enough good things about them. It was a pleasure working with them. Their work is top notch and we will hire them again when we are ready to start our next paving project.

AQ Pavers did an outstanding job. I have two old cracked brick fences, a column in pieces, and two columns that are about to fall down. I interviewed three experienced brick layers and none of them would touch the job. They said that they couldn't possibly rehabilitate the old brick to rebuild the column nor could they patch the fences. They said that the job was just too difficult. Then I called AQ Pavers. Ana, the owner, came to my house, looked at all of the cracks and crumbled bricks and said that we can do it. No doubts, no complaining. Her estimate was reasonable and in a week Martin, the brick mason, came to my house promptly on time and fixed everything that I wanted fixed. He is a master of his trade and unusual among brick masons because he can rebuild old and broken brick fences and piers that are considered unrepairable by other brick masons in the area. He made everything he did look easy. The end results were great. My brickwork now looks wonderful.

Ana did an incredible job with my walkway. I’ve built a paver walkway myself at a previous home, so I have a good idea of the basics, but she demonstrated insights that only come with decades of experience. She also helped me with paver selection, and color. While color and paver pattern is subjective, I appreciated her offering design suggestions I had not considered myself, as well as details that other contractors I spoke to did not. And I did my homework: I interviewed 8 contractors before finding one I could be confident in. Artie did the heavy lifting. He is clearly a craftsman. I expected well fitting pavers. What I didn’t expect were pavers cut like sculpture to fit around small curved obstacles, such as piping. Someone who kept the worksite neat and tidy at all times. Or someone who put in 11 hour workdays, which minimized the number of construction days, something I’m sure our neighbors appreciated. Unlike many amateurs, they set the edge pavers using mortar, rather than just plastic edging, something many contractors won’t bother with. It’s a level of attention to detail that is uncommon. Finally, to top it off, they were priced very reasonably. I didn’t feel like I was helping some big company CEO make their monthly yacht payment. I felt I got a great service, at a great price. What’s not to like? One of my best hires. I would hire AQ Pavers again in a heartbeat.
