Bernd is a very talented builder and craftsman, and a very fair and honest person that is a pleasure to deal with, and super responsive (which I have found to be uncommon in his field). He just completed a full renovation of our recently purchased ski condo in Mammoth Lakes, CA - we couldnâ t be happier with the end result, and we are the envy of all of our neighbors. Bernd installed new floors throughout - they look amazing- the details on the stairs are stand out spectacular (heâ s very good), he installed our brand new kitchen, did the most amazing tile work in 3 bathrooms and our kitchen backsplash, turned a closet into a laundry room, painted the entire place, fixed drywall after the plumbers and electricians came through, installed a 2 story tall sandstone brick wall behind our fireplace, and put our place completely back together and it just came out so amazing. He did more too - fixed our decks, installed the toilets, built the shower pans as part of the tile work, installed shelving plus more - and it was all done beautifully. Bernd takes one job at a time and will travel. This was ideal for us considering Mammoth has a limited work force of subcontractors that can do this work. Bernd is not cheap, but for the work he does, itâ s more than fair. The local guys up there know they are in high demand and will throw out well above market quotes to see if you will engage them out of desperation- we felt so lucky to have found Bernd to do this work for us. Bernd travels with Teddy, a super cute Frenchie that is super well behaved and lovable. We would definitely hire Bernd (and Teddy) for our next project.

A man of great integrity and his expertise in everything he does is so admirable he did our entire home floor tiling and other tiling in 2020 and we couldn't have been more pleased and now we had him paint our entire 2015 square foot home and he takes the time to get it perfectly beautiful

Bernd was excellent. He arrived on the first day and started to work immediately. He is mature and takes his business seriously. He was extremely reliable and worked diligently to get the project completed. He never bothered us nor did he make up any issues like some other contractors to up charge, in fact there were no issues at all. He is highly skilled and a perfectionist. I highly recommend Bernd, you will have no worries and be very happy with the results. We have already scheduled other projects with him at our other house. We feel very lucky and grateful we found him, especially hearing what our friends and others have experienced lately with their contractors.

We have hired Bernd several times to do a variety of things for us. This project included laminate floor installation, back splash tile work and painting of kitchen cabinets and walls. He is always the consummate professional. He is neat and tidy, does very precise work, always cleans up after himself, and he's always done ahead of schedule. His pricing extremely fair. And he's a pleasure to work with. He has great ideas and suggestions regarding design and color. I have enjoyed partnering with him on a variety of projects. I wish there was more stars to give Bernd! He is an absolute pro at tile installation! Bernd tiled our entire condo as well as our outdoor patio space which require quite a bit of leveling. He is thoughtful about design, very detailed, and has a meticulous hand with his cuts. He will be tiling our kitchen backsplash as well when the materials arrive. He's also super pleasant to work with, very communicative, & he is totally fair and honest in pricing. I can't say enough good things about his work ethic, skill and integrity. Hire this man and you will not be disappointed!! He's a rare gem out there, an expert at what he does and a wonderful human!

Bernd is an incredible person. He has outstanding personal & work ethics (honest, professional, pleasant, knowledgeable, extremely neat & organized, very conscious of his work & environment!). Our custom tile job (outdoor stairs, BBQ Area Wall & huge planter box) was not an easy task. Yet, Bernd's finished our job which exceeded our expectations. We couldn't be happier.
