Ross Construction

We chose Glenn Ross Construction as the contractor for renovations on our home. We had the money for renovations built into our mortgage when we bought the house. This included contingency for changes that happened above and beyond the original work. Glenn did not submit the change order invoice when he was supposed to and our renovation loan got closed out. This was even after myself and the bank asked him to submit it so I assumed it was all set. He was paid in full for the original contract and signed a final lien waiver saying he was paid in full on the project and was not owed any money. He must have realized after the fact that he forgot to submit the invoice for the change and is now threatening a lien on the house if we do not pay the change order work out of pocket since the bank wont pay it. I completely understand he did the work, but this money was not supposed to come out of our pocket directly and the way he went about asking for payment was pretty rotten and extremely unprofessional. He did not even explain he made a mistake and immediately jumped to threatening a lien as soon as we asked him about it. We would absolutely have been agreeable to working something out had he approached us professionally. On top of all this, the work took way longer than it was supposed to because of issues on his end, and he did not even complete all the work as far as touchups. We also had to fix a window that Glenn himself installed incorrectly. We also paid a painter for work he could not finish because the living room was not done by the date Glenn told us it would be. Lastly, his crew threw out a few hundred dollars of Xfinity security equipment that we needed to return to Xfinity after we specifically told them we needed it. Glenn refused to acknowledge his crew did anything wrong. We ended up paying for that out of pocket and did not ask for a reimbursement. This whole experience with him was a nightmare.

Very quality conscious contractor who made sure we were happy with the materials and workmanship provided. The business owner checked the daily progress of the work crew and ensured the job was executed professionally and quickly. Adjustments were made per our request without issue when we wished to fine tune details. Would definitely hire again.

Glenn Ross and his team were true professionals. They replaced our whole deck sooner than we expected. Glenn went over everything with us keeping us apprise of any changes and answering any questions we had. Great Job!

Glenn, Kevin and Chris were true professionals. They showed up on time, demonstrated high levels of expertise and craftsmanship, and were a pleasure to work with. They repaired water damage to the exterior of our home in the planned amount of time and for the price quoted. Were are extremely pleased.

After waiting almost 2 years for a local contractor to undertake the project my wife and I were so pleased when we connected with Glen Ross and his team (Scott and Alex). We had our cottage completely restored with white cedar, new siding and trims, as well as installing three new replacement window, shutters, basement door and security front porch handrail. The job was completed in approx. one month. This included several extras at no charge. Glenn and his team did a first class job; dependable, hardworking, flexible, close attention to detail, and always professional. We highly recommended Ross Construction.

The best workers ever. Glenn, Scott and Alex were all great to work with. They did a lot of extras with no additional charge. We had three sides of our historic house restored with red cedar shingles. The results are beautiful. The cost was very fair and was below the original estimate.

I will use Ross Construction again.
