Reviews
Write a ReviewThey did a great job.
Friendly and quick, but extremely overpriced. Someone else had to grind out the stumps, and someone else clean up. Was quoted the same as taking down the trees, by someone else to do the full job, including stump grinding and cleanup. Cost 3x the initial quote for stump grinding. Not happy with the value for money at all.
This guy and 2 kids came to my house. Really had no issue with the taking down of the limbs. Where the problem came in was he brought in a lift. Nothing was mentioned about a lift. If he called as he was supposed to and brought this to my attention, or would have mentioned it yesterday when we talked, I would have said no, not with all the rain. The hillside he dug trenches in is wshed out already. I dont even drive my garden tractor on it because Im trying to establish some grass. He was told that he should not drive it down the hill as we just had several inches of rain the past week. He told my step son that, well, here is a quote from my step son and Of course after **** goes to **** for him he is going to back peddle. I told him he should not go down there because it us what he said that would be fine the machine will not sink so I got him off of this machine walked him over and showed him where the PVC piping comes up that is when he told me that his machine will probably not even make it back up the hill and I said I would not advise you to go down there but it is your company When he was trying to make it back up the hill after everything was caught and I was out of options of helping him to get up he kept asking about driving across the neighbors yard I said I definitely would not do that if I own my own company he took it upon himself to drive his machine all the way around the back side of the house said he would leave a note and take care of anything that happened. He tried to deny all of this to me. He made everything out to be no big deal. He said he was going to call me when he arrived, he didnt. I didnt know he was there until my step son sent me a pic of the tree with the limb down after they moved to behind the shop. They flattened flowers behind the shop. They brought the lift onto my new paver patio and didn't put any pads down. They chipped blocks, and blocks were tipping out of the ground and broke the seal. My step son did this exact job for 4 yrs and was there the whole time watching and tried to offer his expertise, but this guy knew it all. At one point, he sent one of the kids to go to the truck and get a business card and put it in the neighbors door for driving around his back yard. When I offered less because of all the damage, he said do not bother writing a check, Ill see you in court. He went to the back, took a couple pictures then went back to the neighbors knocking on the door again. There was still no one home. Step son went over after he got in his truck, slammed the door and squealed out and if there had been a card, he knew he screwed up and took the card with him so they didnt know who did the damage as there was no card any longer. If he had just came to me and explained, I might have had a better outlook on it. But dont come to me denying everything when dude, Im looking at fresh pictures my wife just sent me. It will cost me more than what you were charging just to fix the damage to my yard and patio. People are already asking me what their name is, so they do not use them. He tried to brag that they are the #1 tree service and they are rating on here. That does not mean crap to me if you do this kind of thing. One set of bad decisions just blew your rating bud. Any repercussions and there will be more on here, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, you name it. My family and I really really cant wait for that court summons!
Friendly and responsive.
Rivetts tree service cut down two trees and trimmed the rest of the trees in my yard earlier this summer. They did a good job so I decided to hire them to plant a tree this fall, even though the quoted price went up about 50% from our discussion earlier in the summer. Regardless, I hired them to plant a sugar maple, but I am 100% sure it is a hybrid red maple that was planted since a certified arborist confirmed it. I asked the business owner about it, but he swore it was a sugar maple - even though his invoice states red maple. He eventually agreed to replace it and said he would be there on two separate occasions, but never showed. Same red maple hybrid instead of agreed-upon sugar maple. Very Disappointing. I cannot trust them to do any more work for me.
They did what they said they would do, did an excellent job of clean up. I would definitely refer them to anyone.
Jason was very flexible with scheduling and completed job on timely basis
on time, very professional good company to work with, will use them again, highly recommended.
Solid work. Fast. Good customer service.
