Rick and his crew were great. They showed up earlier than expected, which I really appreciate. The whole job was on time and under budget. I plan to hire him again with another drywall job.

The owner Rick pushes for cash payments and low bids on the job at the front only to charge more once the work starts and has caused damage to the cabinets and will not take full responsibility for the damages. Be careful when hiring this company. We have filed a complaint with BBB.
Response from Company:
This review is due to sour grapes from an owner that kept asking me to do more and more work but did not like paying for the work. I was his second drywall contractor and now he is on to his third. He has also gone through 3 painters and 2 tile contractors and a host of other trades. Homeowner has gone through more subcontractors on this one project than many of my contractor clients have gone through in 20 years. Payment terms were dictated by him as well. He wanted to set the terms to try to get the absolute cheapest price for the work required and wanted a "cash discount". I have proof that he is the one who asked for cash disbursements in order to work my price down. Not only did he do this with me but I also have proof of him doing this with other subcontractors as well. As for the cabinet situation, due to improper trade scheduling and job management, my guys had to work around finished cabinets extensively. This difficulty lead to us damaging some of the cabinet door fronts. I of course offered to pay for the damage at the time and homeowner told me that it would cost around $500 for the repairs. He owed me $550 for additional work and we agreed that I would credit that amount toward the repairs, which I did. As we were asked to do more and more work, the debt that he owed me grew another $675. Not wanting to pay for the work we had done, miraculously, the repair bill for the cabinets grew to $1,500 to which he stated that 90% of the damage was our fault. I have asked multiple times to view the estimate for the repairs or the final invoice from the cabinet repair company, but, as of yet, have not been presented with any proof of the stated amount for repairs. To satisfy the situation and end our relationship, I offered to pay the $1,350 (90% of $1,500) through the credit of $550, the amount owed of $675, and a check from me for the remaining $125 for his assessment of the amount I owed. I offered this full price settlement several times and in return the only thing I asked for was a copy of the repair invoice showing the $1,500 in repairs so that I may try to re-coup some of these funds from those that actually did the damage. Weeks later and I have not received a copy of that invoice yet. Homeowner filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and after reviewing the evidence I presented, they have dismissed the complaint entirely and closed the case. Not only that, but, I have been humbly nominated for the 2021 BBB Torch Award. Nominees for this award are A+ rated accredited businesses that go above and beyond in their commitment to honest and ethical practices.

Easy to communicate with. Clear and prompt. They were very conscientious about keeping our home clean during their work. Vacuumed after their work each day and left the place tidy. Came back to take care of an issue that was outside their scope, but occurred during the project. Not their fault, but they didnâ t feel right leaving it. Great job.
