We chose Alvaro primarily because of all the positive reviews here on Home Advisor, and we couldn't be happier! He came up to SOHA from Benton Harbor to give a quote within 4 hours on the same day I called for an estimate. The day of scheduled service was quite windy, but he and his crew had no qualms and climbed two tall trees for complete removal, plus four others for substantial trimming. We wanted someone who climbs, because we didn't want bucket trucks or scissor-lifts to tear up the lawn. They roped and lowered all the major limbs and branches so as not to damage nearby shrubs and flowers. The upper portion of the trunk was roped and lowered, and the sections then arranged into a "mattress" area onto which the lower trunk was then toppled to absorb the shock and prevent lawn damage. Cleanup was superb! They raked up and removed all the ancillary leaves, twigs and small broken branches, and even used a blower to clean out the sawdust from the grass and restore the lawn. In short, they definitely exceeded our expectations. Plus the price was reasonable, as well. If you're looking for someone who will care for your property as if it were his own! Call Alvaro!
