I had major land erosion issues due to the way he cut my land which is near the top of a mountain. He cut the area where the house was built into a bowl that is clay soil. I had 3 graders and my builder questioning why he cut the land the way he did. We had a land slide after Helene. The culvert he put at the top of the property was too high to drain anything and water would sit near the home until it evaporated. I discussed all of this with him and he said he would come out and fix it. He never fixed it. I paid another grader to reslope the land so it could drain properly.
Response from Company:
The dirt we took out was saturated due to a spring head . We left the sides high intentionally so water would not run off where fresh fill dirt was to prevent erosion. Which would have been cut after it dried out and final grade was done. We were paid to clear huge trees/boulders cut for foundation NOT FINAL GRADE The only erosion on the property was called from water running out of the downspouts . I explained the process, many times but he never remembered our conversations.
