Write a ReviewReady Dig Excavation and the team fell short. 18 feet to be exact, that is how much clay pipe they left behind. April 2016: the Project Manager found this team working in the area. They negotiated the replacement of the main. Original Problem was that the main was backing up in the basement. The goal was to fix it so this never had to be dealt with again. Issue 3 years in the main was backing up into the basement. The main was snaked issue thought to be a fluke caused by roots on the city side. What else could someone think after having the main replaced three years earlier? April 2020, 4 years later: we had the main backing up into the basement. We had it snaked and scoped. We had found the issue was ours. Ready Dig Excavation failed to replace the whole main. The issue today is that there are roots in the main drain. There is a separation between the PVC and the clay. The team was called out and discussed the issue. The representative remembered exactly what happened. They stopped the new PVC when it got difficult to dig in the tree roots. Discussion on how to proceed/fix issues occurred. Today, the team ignores our calls and text. After receiving quotes, the fix will be costly for excavating, replacing/repair of main and disposal of the driveway that will be required to be removed then later repaired. Did I mention this is a new driveway laid after the main was replaced? I recall the Team telling me I was getting a deal. This repair will cost more than the original cost to replace the entire main. If the cost seems too good to be true, it probably is!
Frank and his team are fantastic . This company has integrity and the ability to offer great service at a very competitive price.
They came looked at the job, advised me what they needed to do, on our appointment date they came and did it. The job was very professional.
They were prompt. Did good work. They suggested an upgrade to make the line better for the future, but not until the work was almost done, and it would have taken an extra day that I didn't have for them to finish. I would have liked that info to start, but they worked me into their schedule fast, got the job done quick and had my house up and running in no time. I would use them again.
Willie G. very satisfied would give them an AAA rating
Communication was solid. Showed up and completed what needed to be done when he said they would. Made me aware of their current progress, what was going on and what needed to be done. Solid crew, best price for what I thought needed to be done.
Very prompt and the work was completed very fast.
Thanks Jim!
Timing was not good, knowledge of landscaping was not sufficient.
Unreliable. Unprofessional. The job was supposed to be done in 1 weekend and after only doing about 50-60% of the work and a month of getting the run around I eventually had to fire them. Scheduled but never showed up with no call on several occasions. Showed up very late in the day and only worked for a few hours at a time when they did show up. Left garbage all over my yard the first day and also left a broken wheel barrel for me to dispose of. Didn't clean my driveway after dirt delivery. There was exposed landscape tarp in several areas were dirt was laid. Even scarier is that I found glass, scrap metal, and other debris in the dirt they laid to be the foundation of my lawn!
Great company
