There aren’t many honest, hard working people left in this world that actually take pride in what they do, but Pete Bowen is one of them!!! He worked with me from the beginning in every way you could imagine. He did a great job, he taught me a lot about the irrigation system he installed and we even had a lot of fun along the way. He is always there if I have a question and extremely helpful. If you want an irrigation system, Pete is your man!! He uses a process that does not tear your yard up and is absolutely top notch. I wish I could rate 10 stars. I can’t wait to send him my award winning yard pictures next spring! PETE IS EXCELLENT!!!

First, Pete’s design is great. It’s not a cookie-cutter plan. We have some challenging areas, needing more watering or more gentle spray, and the design met all those needs. Except for the area required to be open trenched for inspection by law, Pete’s method of laying the lines slices instead of trenches and so they were barely visible when done and gone in a few days. We really appreciate Pete’s knowledge of laws and rules and his diligence in following them. We wanted a system that met all ordinances and that’s what we got. Overall, Pete was extremely conscientious with a lot of care of our property, a project that was done right and he did a brilliant design. Plus, it’s beautiful when running.

We had the pleasure of working with Pete Bowen and his team on installing an irrigation system. From the beginning of providing a detailed proposal, to managing oversight installation, to testing the new system, and training us in the use of Hunter control, Pete has been personable and professional. He was available in person and an iPhone and answered all our questions. Also, we were surprised that Pete is so experienced with the Backflow process, and able to provide the late Fall closeup and in Spring for start up the system. I would also like to mention that the experienced and industrious guys on installation feel even better that decision had gone with Pete.

Pete and his team did a fantastic job. Pete kept me informed about each step in the process, ensured everything was to code and worked properly. The whole crew was professional, and I am pleased with the final product. I would highly recommend Rain Dance Irrigation if you need a sprinkler system installed.

Pete far exceeded our expectations on a large-yard installation. Pete was responsive, reliable, and absolutely took pride in his craft. Pete took as much care for our yard as I would and was absolutely committed to making our yard the best-looking yard in the neighborhood. His equipment is unique as you will struggle to see his work in our yard and the installation of no less than 72 sprinklers! No need for trenching or overseeding and the components he uses are first-class. Finally, Pete was great to have around, we enjoyed working with him and look forward to an ongoing relationship with him. I highly recommend Pete for any homeowners committed and serious about their lawn care.

Pete Bowen was referred to us by our TruGreen Service representative. Pete exceeded our expectations in every way. We have an older Lake Norman property with a huge yard and sprinklers fed from the Lake. Many of the sprinklers were nonfunctional or nonexistent and Pete was fabulous in running lines (without tearing up our yard) to add sprinklers or repair old fixtures to gain the best possible water coverage for us. The supplies he used were professional quality. At the same time, his charge for the job was very reasonable. Thank you, Pete!

Pete is a hard worker and really cares about the project. He dealt with several "surprises" in our existing irrigation system and was fair in costing out the work. He was great in communicating options and showing us ways to save money and where we should invest to have a great lawn. His hours are nights and weekends so it is non-traditional timing but worked out great for us to interact with Pete. He was not our cheapest option but I am glad I had him do the work and feel great about the final product. His process left very little impact on our existing lawn where he dug new lines. He helped us understand how to operate the system and is responsive if we need him. I would highly recommend Pete.

Pete Bowen, owner of Rain Dance Irrigation Systems, was recommended by 2 different neighbors. I also obtained bids from other contractors in the Fall of 2017. After interviewing each of them, Pete was a clear "standout". While his price was slightly higher, it was well worth it because of the high quality of materials and sprinkler heads he used. He does all the work himself (including the back flow installation) and he is an expert in every facet of the design and installation of sprinkler systems. He is passionate about minimizing any damage to the existing turf during installation. Toward that end, he uses pipe pulling equipment (rather than trenching) whenever possible. He guarantees his work and all parts. Also, for a modest annual fee, Pete winterizes the system in late Fall and activates it in early Spring at which time he thoroughly checks the entire system, adjusts sprinkler heads for optimal coverage, etc. Pete has a "Day Job" and works alone in his sprinkler installation business. As a result, it may take him longer to complete the project than some other contractors. He will often work weekends and some evenings installing the system. It is well worth the wait.
