Ron and his team were excellent to work with. They were timely, informative, and the quality of the work was great. The work was completed quicker than I anticipated. Plus, the pricing was reasonable. I will use R&M in the future!

R & M Const. Did a fantastic job on remodeling my laundry room. Ron, Rob, and their crew all did great work when they were here. Cleaned up their mess when they were done working. The work involved demolition of 400 sq ft garage and building out close to 1000 sq ft structure that included new garage, bed, bath, laundry/utility room. I took 5 quotes from different contractors and choose R & M Construction. Their quote was very detailed with down list items which gave me confidence that the team knew the job and could execute and how the cost was calculated and it gave me flexibility upgrade/downgrade listed items. During execution of the project, the team was very professional and did a great job! we lived in the house during construction and they were very accommodating. No hesitation in referring them.

It was a pleasure working with R&M Construction on a room addition. Their estimate was very detailed - I knew what I was getting from the start. I was worried about this addition to my open plan design, but the quality of their work is excellent! People that had been to my house before the remodeling did not notice any significant change to the house layout. The paint match was good too. I would hire them again.

UPDATE ON REVIEW: I gave them all 5 stars after completing the job in November 2018 - It is now the end of March 2019 but unfortunately have to lower the rating. This was a big job - close to $200K, I was a prompt payer, not holding any retention and easy to work with. I have a punch list of items that are still outstanding but payments are not. I believe their intention is to get back out and complete but maybe just not as big of a priority as should be. When a punch list goes over a couple of months, without a scheduled date, it is not reasonable - On to my first review: They completed a major remodel home remodel including an addition to my forever home in Brentwood. Working with Ron, Rob, and Jeff was great from start to finish. Their bid was competitive and complete. Being a single woman I appreciated the extra help, suggestions, and honesty. The architect had made some major mistakes on the design and R and M caught them right away and brought to my attention. Had they built to the plans, they realized it would not have met my expectations. Thanks to their experience we were able to move some things around and get an amazing finished product. They managed their subs well and worked with my architect to exceed my expectations in the finished product. I am looking forward to working with them again in the near future.

These guys are great!! From start to finish! Ron returned my initial call within the hour. He was at our house the next day, where he listened to what we wanted, gave great suggestions, and took measurements for a bid. He spent 2 1/2 hours with us!! Bid was great, well within our expectations. Construction started within 20 days after signing the contract. Rob and Jeff did exceptional work. They get more done in a day than I could have imagined. And they are perfectionists. Rob spent time with us at the end of each work day, explaining what was done and the plan for the next day. If there was an issue, we knew about it right away and it was taken care of. Our crappy ole kitchen is now a dream kitchen! Highly recommend them!!!!!

Kudos for R & M Construction! Ron and Rob Magin are my heroes. Along with their employee, Jeff, they completely transformed my parents’ home. It was built well over seventy years ago. After numerous sets of people lived there over the years, the house was left sadly neglected and no longer livable. Major repairs and renovation were sorely needed. Another company we contacted appeared intimidated by the scope of the work and backed out. Not so for Ron and Rob! At each step, from demolition to the final inspection, they cheerfully took on the project, and they were upbeat about the possibilities all the way through There were plenty of surprises along the way. Each time, they called me in, showed me the problem and explained what was needed. Both brothers are knowledgeable, conscientious, and personable. Their advice was invaluable and reliable, reflecting years of experience in every aspect of construction. They used initiative to install what they knew would be attractive and workable for the home. This house went from nearly uninhabitable to a place of style and beauty. These guys did everything they could do to keep the job moving without increasing the cost exponentially. I truly appreciate all their attention to detail and their professionalism. I always felt they were in MY corner, not just out to make a buck, but to turn the place into something great. In the end, even they were pleased with the results, and we certainly couldn’t be more proud of their work. I hope I can always use their expertise for any future job I encounter!
