Beware of this company. Contracted with them for a 12K job in Sept / Oct 2020. Filed a court case against them in Aug 2020; completed and won the case in Jan 2022; and just finally got paid for the judgement, but only after garnishing the ownerâ s (Ryan Wallace) bank accounts (May 2022). They poorly installed the sprinkler system, the sod, and the xeriscaping â weed barrier, rock, edging and dripline. There was 1 installer mainly â sometimes 2, who were fairly new and not entirely familiar with sprinkler systems â per the owner and installerâ s own words. The owner of the company, Ryan Wallace, never returned to check the work a single time throughout the install. I made him aware via text, email, and calls within the first couple of days of the project â of the multiple issues with the install. The majority of these issues were not addressed. The xeriscaping was poorly installed â with rock, edging and drip line not installed appropriately. Rock was installed in front of and blocking 2 of 3 gates. I caught this on the 3rd gate and had them change but they never went back and fixed the 2 gates. They installed 4 instead of the planned 6 sprinkler zones, which caused the sod to quickly start dying as the sprinkler zones were not installed to provide full coverage. They never did complete the hook up of the drip line. They refused to install the timer in the garage and instead did it in the basement. As we were quickly coming into winter, the owner agreed to the deficiencies and promised to fix everything in the Spring of 2021. Come Spring of 2021, started contacting Wallace in April 2021, but he never responded until mid June. Upon coming to look at the project â he tried to blame all of the issues on the well and pressure of the house (which was not the problem), and his installer. He had upsold me on a wireless timer, but didnâ t even install the correct wire to accommodate the additional zones planned for. The timer was deemed defective by the manufacturer when it wouldnâ t work in June 2021, but because Wallace refused to provide the original receipt to the manufacturer, I had to replace it out of pocket. Not to mention the unprofessional nature exhibited by Wallace and his employees, which included inappropriate texts, conversations, and bullying. After going back and forth with Wallace on fixing the issues for the next 2 months, I asked for a refund for half the install (which was based on multiple quotes to fix the issues he caused). He refused to complete and fix the poor install, would not refund anything, and then had an attorney send a letter that he considered the job completed, working as expected, and threatened me to not push the issue further. In Aug of 2021, I filed a small claims court case. That case was drawn out from Sept 2021 through Jan 2022. After multiple hearings, the judgeâ s ruling was overwhelming in my favor, and she indicated she could have made the judgement based on the photos alone. Even after the judgement â I received a threatening letter from Wallaceâ s attorney stating that although I had a full judgement, that they didnâ t agree with it and would not pay it unless I agreed to take less than the court ordered judgement. I then had to garnish the ownerâ s bank accounts, and his regular employer (CRMC) wages. I was finally paid in full in May 2022 from these garnishments. There are several reputable Landscaping companies out there, I encourage you to do your research and be careful who you hire.

Q Lawn performed a variety of services for us. Aeration, tree planting and new sprinklers for the trees. Lawn dethatching. New road base for our driveway. We have been very pleased with Q Lawn and would highly recommend.

Iâ ve used QLawn services for 3 years. This year for comparison purposes I tried contacting several other lawn care providers. Not one had the courtesy to return my call. So I called QLawn and they came that same afternoon, mowed, aerated, and fertilized. They did a very nice job. I will continue to use QLawn.
