Repair Exterior Trim

Marcio did a great job. He removed and refurbished the wood trim on the house exterior. He stuccoed the wall exposed by the removal of wood trim make sure that it matched the existing stucco. Marcio did such a good job that I hired him to paint the house exterior. He pressure cleaned the entire house, repairs holes, and caulked where needed. He painted the entire house with care and skill and it looks great. The pictures show before and after. I will definitely use the company again.

Paint or Stain Interior Surfaces

Hire this company to paint and do a kitchen restoration for a business in which the painting job was paid for complete and to replace laundry doors. Since I didnâ t want to proceed with the kitchen restoration the owner didnâ t send his guys to complete the painting job. I have a ceiling not completed , doors closets and I have to hire someone else to complete the job after paying this company

When a client's dishonesty adorns every sense of a contract the best solution is to stop the service. You as a client gave me a bad check that you were late in paying, you agreed to meet the requirements of the painting process and you did not honor them either. We are not a company that provides inefficient public services to businesses like yours, you make your money and charge your clients just as we do, but when a client violates the agreement like you did the project is stopped. Companyâ s owner Marcio was very professional, very punctual and knowledgeable. I had requested a shower remodel but, after seeing him work and suggest ideas, I ended up painting the entire bathroom and also changed both faucets which he installed. I am very pleased with his attitude and his willingness to work so much so that I will definitely contact him again for other projects!. The bathroom looks like new!.

Criminal Background Check

Who does HomeAdvisor background check?

The owner or principal of each business in HomeAdvisor's network (with the exception of Corporate Accounts) must pass a background check. Unfortunately, we cannot perform a background check on every employee of a business—the background checks are performed only on the owner or principal. As always, we recommend that you conduct your own research on the businesses you hire, including making inquiries directly with the businesses regarding their employee background check policies.

What does the background check cover?

We use a third-party vendor to conduct a criminal records search in the county in which the business owner or principal works. Our third-party vendor uses a national criminal database ("NCD") to screen service professionals. Business owners or principals with felony arrests that carry a pending decision or who are convicted of felonies in the past 7 years ago will not be admitted to the network. Businesses or owners convicted misdemeanors or felonies, or who have dismissed charges or arrests on their records involving rape/incest, sex offenses, or lewd and lascivious behavior at any point in time will not be admitted to our network.

Our background check does not exclude service professionals unless the crime at issue is a felony.

*The comprehensiveness of the NCD varies by state. Please be aware that the reporting in the NCD is particularly limited in the following states: AL, CO, DE, GA, ID, IL, KS, LA, ME, MA, MI, MS, MT, NE, NV, NH, NM, SD, UT, VA, VT, and WY. After initial admission to the HomeAdvisor network, businesses are re-screened if a concern is reported to HomeAdvisor.

Corporate Accounts

Some businesses are employees, franchisees, dealers or independent contractors ("Corporate SP's") of larger national or "Corporate Accounts". When this is the case, we may match you with the Corporate Account or with one of their Corporate businesses. The above screening process does not apply to Corporate Accounts, as HomeAdvisor does not screen Corporate Accounts or Corporate businesses.

Verify Trade License HomeAdvisor checks to see if the business carries the appropriate state-level license. Verify Insurance As a part of our screening process, we encourage professionals to carry general liability insurance. We require coverage for hundreds of services. Verification of State Business Filings For business types that require a Secretary of State filing, we confirm that the business is in good standing in the state in which it is located. Criminal Records Search HomeAdvisor uses 3rd party data sources to conduct a criminal search for any relevant criminal activity associated with the owner/principal of the business. Sex Offender Search We confirm that the owner/principal is not listed on the official state Sex Offender web site in the state in which the owner/principal of the company is located. Bankruptcy Search We use 3rd party data sources to check the history of the principal/owner of the business for bankruptcy filings by or against them. Legal Search for Civil Judgments We use 3rd party data sources to check the principal/owner of the business for state level civil legal judgments entered against them. Liens Search We use 3rd party data sources to check the principal/owner of the business for liens placed against them. Identity Verification (SSN) HomeAdvisor verifies the social security number(s) of the owner/principal for identity check purposes. This check applies primarily to smaller business entities. Identity Verification (Reverse Phone Lookup) We conduct a reverse business phone lookup to identify records matching the phone number information provided by the business.
