Responded immediately to my request for ceiling drywall repairs but most importantly for my family, (showed up at scheduled time with no waiting around or failure to call the customer for cancelled jobs). Based on his expertise, finishing three projects at the same time, (excellent workmanship) in a timely manner, we will use his company as our,"Go- to- company" for future projects.

The workmanship was great. Costly for what they did, but they did a good job.

These guys showed up with the sheetrock but no caulk, did a poor job painting the staircase(included in the scope of the work). I told them I would pay by check when the work was done on day 2. They got another job an rushed mine but did not leave the house until 8 PM. Did not close the door or put up plastic when sanding the rock and as a result, I have sheetrock dust all over my family room. Will take a considerable time to get it all cleaned up. At the end of the workday, the lead told me he wanted cash payment for the job. I reminded him, before the work started, that I would pay by check. He then wanted $250 of the $800 I agreed to so he could pay his assistant. Looks like I had an undocumented worker in my home. Would not touch this company again with a 10-foot pole!

Response from Company:

Hello James, we appreciate your review because it lets us know as a company what we need to work on to better our business however we do have a few concerns about your comments. We waited a few days to answer back to your comment to get all the facts. This project was completed back in October 30th, 18 we really wish you would have contacted us than, we would have corrected anything that may have been incorrect from our part, the guys working on the project stated that you thanked them for doing a great job. I'm just wondering why wait until now to let us know about something you were unhappy with. In regards to your comment about "us having another job and rushing this job" I'm not exactly sure where you are getting this from, my guy let you know the completion time for this project would take two days, when he noticed that they had advance a far lot more than planned he asked for your opinion and permission to stay a little later to complete the project for you in one day instead of two. They would have never stayed later if not permitted to. In regards to payment each company has the say in their preferred method of payment however my guy did ask you if it were okay to receive payment in cash instead which would have been perfectly fine if you had just said no because we do receive payment in cash or check and payment is expected once project is completed however I truly apologize for each and everyone of these inconveniences. I understand each and everyone of your concerns however, your statement "Looks like I had an undocumented worker in my home." I honestly don't see how you would be able to tell if a person is undocumented or documented from their skills or scope of practice. So I find this comment irrelevant and unnecessary. Thank you.
