Reviews
Write a ReviewI contacted Energyaid on Angi's recommendation to take a look at the yellow flashing light on my inverter. The company that was monitoring my system went out of business. Energyaid insisted on a full system inspection for $299.00 before they would do repairs. My solar indicates that everything is working but I needed help so I agreed. Within one minute of arrival, the tech informed me that nothing could be done about the flashing light on my inverter. He advised waiting for the inverter to fail. What?!! I was trapped into paying for an inspection I did not need. I was then rejected for the $9/month monitoring because of the inverter. The tech left with my $299.00 and no solution to my problem. The next day, I found another tech who took a look at my inverter. He called the manufacturer, found that it was still under warrantee and ordered a replacement and charged me $149.00. Energyaid is a bogus company. They are out to sqeeze you dry.
Hi Karin, we are sincerely sorry to hear about your experience and would be eager to discuss it further with you. With that being said, every solar system is different. Therefore, in order to determine what exactly is happening with your solar system, we must visit site in order to gather more information. In addition to this, we do not provide recommendations in accordance with our findings in real-time. After a visit is concluded, our findings are first assessed by our technical support and service management, then findings are provided to you, alongside the report of our assessment. We would love to connect in order to discuss further and clear up your concerns as well as your sentiments regarding the legitimacy of our organization.
Job well done
We started dealing with the company by having someone come over to complete a diagnosis of an existing issues with our solar panels. The diagnosis went fine and was paid for and I have got a call to make make the arrangements to proceed with the repair or whatever work that is needed to be done. After first call there were no follow up by phone or by email although I attempted to reach out to them several times. None of my phone calls were returned and my emails were not adequately responded to. It is frustrating and disappointing especially because this company was recommended by Angi.
Very professional techs. Knowledgeable and friendly. Gave me answers to my questions and made me feel at ease about my solar production.
Hi Tomas, Thank you so very much for sharing your feedback with us. We are honored to have been able to serve you and provide you satisfactory service. Should the need arise, we would be pleased to serve you again.
This was a very good experience! The 2 technicians arrived on time, were very professional and polite, and even went above and beyond what I was expecting. If anyone needs any solar-related repairs or installation, I would highly recommend Energy Aid
Hi Mary, thank you so very much for the gracious feedback and for recommending us. We are sincerely moved to have been able to have been of service to you. Thank you very much for choosing EnergyAid.
Work was not done right. Wanted more money to diagnose. Tried to keep milking money with no results. Called a competitor and saw results the first visit with a fraction of the cost. Hold on to your wallet Alley the are rip off artists and try sucking money out of you. They won?t be in business to much longer if they keep that up
Hi Lana, we are sorry to hear that your experience has been less than satisfactory. It would appear that we replaced a faulty monitoring gateway, but there were more issues onsite once monitoring was restored. We have attempted reaching out in order to discuss this further, and would love to hear back. Looking forward to speaking with you.
Total disrespect for other people time. When I was young, contractors came out and bid on a job, did not charge you, and either they got the job (or not). If they did not show up, that was on their time. Now this contractor charges $$$, blows you off, and expects you to bend to their schedule. Find a company that demonstrates customer service.
Hi Robert, we sincerely apologize for the inconvenience regarding your appointment needing to be rescheduled. As a servicer, there are times when visits may not be fulfilled as intended. When this occurs, we do our best to let our customers know as early as possible. We would love to connect with you in order to discuss this matter further. Thank you for your time and feedback.
Waste of time and $300
This is far from the experience that we intend to provide and are deeply sorry to hear that this has been your impression. We would love to connect and see what could have been done better, as well as how we can improve your experience. Thank you for your feedback.
Showed up on-time and did very thorough work.
Very informed and professional technician.
