My family has never had the pleasure of working with a nicer, more professional and experienced company and owner. Kyle is a true professional and does not disappoint. He and his team are experienced and extremely knowledgeable, kind, and most importantly, honest. These days, I feel like it is very rare to find any service that calls you back, follows up when they say they are going to and show up when they say they will. But Kyle is that guy that shows up, every time. We were blown away by his level of customer service and his way of doing business. Highly, highly recommend ! Thank you Kyle

I had my liner replaced. Amazing job. They are reliable ,knowledgeable, experienced, and honest. I would highly recommend.

Kyle did a great job the price was good and the workmanship was excellent he works like a gentleman (not a rush job) took out my old liner, releveled the sand and installed new liner. He installed a new skimmer and return. His worker Manny put all the garbage neatly at the street for my garbage man. GREAT JOB GUYS!!! JOE M.

We recently had our pool installed and couldn’t be happier with the experience. Kyle was professional and responsive from start to finish. The installation went smoothly, and the final result was wonderful. Highly recommend this company to anyone considering a pool installation!

My pool hit the point where it either needed extensive repairs or replacement. I told Kyle that I had time to wait and he looked for an opportunity over winter for an excellent price on a quality pool. Also, he looked for a pool that fit with our small deck. Great price, trustworthy and quality service. So much better than working with chain store or other pool companies on Long Island. This has been a great experience and we now have a have the pool ready for the entire season (opened in April).

Kyle and his staff absolutely did the right thing for me. I thought my pool was beyond repair, they showed up knocked it out and even came back to make sure everything was going as expected. Would absolutely recommend to family and friends!

KYLE did an excellent job installing our new pool. We could not be happier with his work. From start to finish he paid attention to every detail and made sure everything was perfect. He never tried to upsell us. The price he gave us was the price we paid. if you need a pool installed, I highly recommend him. You will not be unhappy. He had to fit the new pool around an existing deck that was built for the old pool and he did an incredible job fitting it in.

UPDATE 7/1/25: Made a comment on this company below last month & this is the text msg. he sent to me this morning, I'm appalled! From Kyle Shepard (Porter Pool Service): Never took the time to write anything positive for me despite my assistance however you took the time to slander me in public knowing it would have a negative impact on my business and future. They love you one minute then hate you the next. I am disappointed because I was not only sidelined with staff infection and unable to provide for myself and customers but you didn?t even once think to ask if I am ok. Many occasions you have said love you Kyle thank you and to see you take time to write that review is beyond disappointing in what some humans are capable of. You made sure to go on home advisor and share your unhappiness, no wrath like that of a scorned woman, I on the other hand am still sorry I couldn?t step up for you on the fly but I was dealing with health issues. ORIGINAL COMMENT: Kyle started off to a great start when I first was referred to him, but there was no finish. He has gaslighted me on a couple occasions another Customer I referred him to as well. Needed a repair, called numerous times after opening my pool, no answer & no response. He seems to be totally into just building pools at this point. While that is fine ,customer service from a good company is important. Thank God I was able to find another Company ( remove company name) Service and they not only showed up quickly, but did the repair to excellent. Thank you so much Vinny, I will be using you more going forward & will refer others to you as well. Save your energy and find someone else Porter Pools has gotten too big for his own good,
