Write a ReviewHe troubleshooted the project, found and corrected the issue even after my extensive inspection.
Frustrating
We got three estimates. Plumbtech Plumbing & Septic, Inc. weren't the cheapest but they wanted to handle the job and could start immediately. The damage was worse than the estimate as expected. The plumbing was above a cement slab which was chiseled away. It was a lot of extra work and turned out the rodent ate away the drain pipe causing the leak. In the end the leak was fixed, the cost also increased as expected but not 35%. What can you do? The techs were very friendly.
It was difficult to schedule. In fact at first they acted like they didn’t know why I was calling. Finally the woman said yes they were a plumber and we scheduled the work. The work was done satisfactorily but the price seemed very high.
I hired Plumbtech to re-pipe the plumbing between 2 back to back bathrooms on the second floor. It was supposed to be a 2 day project. They began work on the 1st day at 3:15PM and on the 2nd day at 11:30AM. i was forced to take 2 1/2 days off from work to accomodate them. Part of the project involved cutting a hole in the master bedroom closet to gain access. they left the closet a mess which i was forced to clean up & left a 15 ft ladder in the middle of my closet which i was forced to move myself. They broke the tile threshold to the master bath & left a crack in the ceiling in the guest bath. when the project was done, we agreed that i would deduct a certain amount from the final payment to adjust for the damages - which they agreed to. i was not happy with their customer service as i was forced to call the office/dispatcher 4 times on the first day to get someone to show up. All in all not a good experience although they tried to make it right in the end.
timely, efficient, professional
