I Scheduled a repair for my disabled Aunt in Sun City. Agreement was the tech is supposed to look at ice maker and call me with cost prior to completing any work. Tech was 2+ hours late and she called me to say she thought he was a no show. Tech called me later that day and said ice maker was fixed and was $175 what card did I want to pay for it with. This was about $50 more than she had budgeted for the job and never agreed to.
Response from Company:
We made you aware that we where running behind schedule that day and that was not an issue for you. The part on the ice maker had to be installed as part of the testing and diagnosing procedure. We called to inform you what part had failed and what the cost would be at that point you where under no obligation to pay or accept the repair. We where able to complete the repair for 15-20% less than book value. We hope to be able to assist you in the future.

Tech and his helper arrived within an hour of my call, spent a couple of hours basically dismantling my refrigerator, testing the circuit boards, repairing , replacing components, and cleaning the whole Fridg up during the process. Most importantly they fixed the problem. Very knowledgeable, competent, communication was good, they cleaned up after themselves, and the price for their work was fair.
