NorthStar Moving

On Friday, May 20th and Saturday May 21, 2022. North Star Moving Company has overwhelming succeeded again where no other movers would willingly do for us! This is our third move using them and I'm happy to say they continued to exceed our expectations. I must mention their names because they are the best group of guys. Austin came to our old place first to look over all the things we would take and pack. After he looked and gave us an estimate, true to his word, North Star never exceeded the rate. Our one day job turned into two days and one, very late night. We were blessed to get Noah (the team lead), and his team: Grandville (G), Jose and David-who helped on Friday but not able to come on Saturday with the rest of the crew which returned for both days. Anyhow, this group of guys were honest, reliable and careful, not just of our stuff (prescriptions, gold & silver collection, jewelry and money) but of their time as well. I asked Noah why he kept looking at his watch and he told me that they were taking a five minute break and then get back to work! I was blown away! Truly, they looked out for us in other ways as well. They made a total of six trips back and forth from our old place to the new house. They set up all the furniture that they took apart too. They stayed with us until midnight. They would not leave us high and dry by stopping off furniture and leaving. They placed down carpets, made sure all beds were put together so we could sleep on our own mattresses, put their own carpet runners being respectful of our new flooring. They even opened one box because my son forgot his medication and they knew exactly where it was since they labeled the boxes for us! This was no ordinary move either. We had so much furniture, and I am older so I needed the help packing as well. This group of great guys went out of their way to make sure things were done right. Our breakable items and furniture arrived in perfect condition too. We bought them food and drink. They never asked for this, but we felt compelled because of who they are. We were so grateful for all their help. They are worth this review and more. We tipped them well because they earned it.

This was a couple of years ago, but they ended up being like 9 days late on a move of 350mi.

Make promises they do not keep - only did a half-ass job of helping me finish packing. Ron Cohen did not live up to his promises. Do not use them!

movers were very nice, worked really hard. the company waved the trip charge because I wasn't aware of certain charges. they called of the day before and asked if I could change my window for the move 9 to 11 to 11 to 4. unfortunately they didn't show up until almost 4 which made my move at night and really later than I wanted to do it. they did give me a $50 discount for changing the window.

Professional, excellent

They are a great company nice guys. I used them twice. I would not use them to pack a POD. I didnt know you needed to pack it a certain way so they packed it like anyone pacling a storage unit. That did cost me time in redoing it. Other than that they were great.
