We hired Horace to install drywall in our basement. He was extremely professional and considerate. He made sure that he completed the project timely.

Mr Gray and his team were all very professional. They repaired my kitchen ceiling and took out fluorescent lights and replaced them with led lights. It was a 3 day job and the end of each day everything was left clean and tidy. I was pleased with the final result. D.Wilkerson

I hired Horace as a handyman to make repairs so the apt would be ready for reinspection. The main work was to sand, prime, and paint the kitchen top cabinet doors and frame and the bottom cabinet doors and frame.. I told him that benjamin moore products must be used. . On 5/23, he degreased some of the doors. On 5/25, he told me he was just going to sand the doors to make them smooth and than use BM fresh start oil based primer. (i paid for this and the degreaser on 5/22). I reminded him not to paint the hinges and he said that her would clean them with a toothbrush. Later on 5/25 I found out that 1....he did not use the BM oil primer but used an old can of paint from another co that was all in one primer/paint.-- used satin latex the paint was to be by BM--semiglss but I had not picked out the color Work-- ...sloppy--streaks on doors and frames ...areas were blotchy and DOORS NOT smooth--does not appear that he sanded OR he did a bad job of sanding. .....closed wet cabinet doors so paint damaged when opened doors ...painted hinges white and he was not supposed to paint them I was upset and angry because he did this BEHIND my back and than refused to talk to me---There are copies of my texts sent to him between May 25--May 30th. He demanded more money on May25th and I told him that i will be happy to pay him After the job is completed ANd inspected, This was when he became angry at me and I realized that he did something wrong. Because I was upset and angry, he hung up Horace ruined the cabinet doors due to poor workmanship and the use of the wrong product. On May 25, he never left the materials that I paid for on 5/23 I have no understanding as to why this man chose to do.this His behavior has caused me to take action. Re the review rating, I was directed to put in at least 1/2 star, otherwise I would have left it blank and given an F. I had hoped that this man would be my handyman but HE FAILED ME.

I am quite satisfied with the quality of work, particularly the carpentry which was done very efficiently and creatively. Excellent communications and all estimates were clearly detailed and in writing. Horace has good people and he does not take on a job without making sure that his people can do it right. The paint job was also satisfactory but not as impressive as the carpentry, I would definitely hire Horace again.
