When we discovered a leak in our stucco overhang, we immediately started looking for someone to help us determine the issue. Modern Roofing was the first company to respond. We were dreading the process, knowing that many roofing companies seem to "disappear" after repairs. Rome and George came out to inspect the damage and quickly discovered our leak issue was indeed caused from a major roof issue! They were able to show us what exactly the problem was. Apparently, the previous roofers had cut numerous corners to save "themselves" money! After visiting with Rome and George and listening to the facts about their company, my husband and I knew we had found the right people to entrust with solving our issues. Rome and George sat with us and explained the materials they would be using. They made us feel like "family" and "friends". Our visit lasted almost 3 hours! We were confident that we had made the right decision. The project was soon started. Rome and George kept us informed of each step. I can't express enough how impressed I am with not only Rome and George, but each worker that was on this job. If you are looking for an honest, top notch company to help you with your home, I highly recommend calling Modern Roofing and Home Improvements first! They showed up, rushed and finished the work. The cosmetic tiles were supposed be taken down and placed back on the house as per agreement. They did a extremely bad job with the tiles on my 100 year old house. They ruined my homes curb appeal. Then after the job was done I asked them to come over and fix the messed up broken crooked tiles.. They kept pushing back on it, saying it is not their problem. I had to climb on the roof to work with them to get it at least in a semi acceptable. I am now trying to fix their mess and getting new quotes. I had a new leak after their work was completed(less than a week) . They blamed it on the window. Didnâ t even come over to check it out. The project manager is now ignoring my calls. I have a tarp on my roof and I am waiting for another contractor to come and fix their mistake. I am in the process of filling a complaint with CSLB due to the disregard about my leak and poor craftsmanship.

I dealt with Johnny who works for Modern Roofing, made this a pleasant experience. He made sure everything was done correctly and clean. He did inspection and asked the workers to finish up in a way that was promised. I never wrote a review on this stuff and not particularly like dealing with construction, but I am glad I choose this company and worked with Johnny.

We had a roofing issues for a while and one of our family member recommended me Modern Roofing. They scheduled an appointment at the same day. The cost was reasonable and the job was done within a day! Highly recommended!
