Although Almondo was delayed by traffic and parking issues in NYC, once he arrived he worked with confidence and a strong knowledge base. He quoted a price for installing a 220, 30 amp outlet for a clothes dryer and stayed with that price. He cleaned up after the work was done and indicated that the work was guaranteed. I am very pleased with the job done..

Very professional about scheduling, calling ahead, cleaning up. Most importantly, the work was done quickly with some great advice on added functionality for my track lights.

I had had a short as well as an overload problem with a breaker and got a different company at first because it was an emergency. They more or less fixed the problem (leaving one room not fixed) and told me to do rewiring and replace my old breaker box with a larger one would cost around 5000 and that there was a real danger if i did not. I checked all this on line and discovered that they were quoting way too much. I chose Mike because of 30 positive reviews on Home Advisor for the company and the fact that he did not charge to come and take a look and give me a quote. He did everything for 1400, worked on a Sunday, told me exactly what was needed and why honestly, worked all afternoon and fixed everything, offered to fix for free two other broken lamps and is obviously a terrific electrician (28 years experience though he doesn't look more than 40). Phoning was a little tricky--the Mayfair number and his were sometimes interchangeable sometimes not and I was unable to hook up with the office to speak with someone directly a couple of times.
