We hired Matchbox excavation to build a retaining wall in the creek that was eroding our back yard. Noah was professional, friendly, and very hardworking. He was there on the day he said he would be. He was there bright and early everyday and worked long days to get the job done. He went above and beyond what we asked him to do including building us steps out of giant rocks so we could get down to the creek. I would recommend Matchbox to everyone and I will absolutely use them again.

They listen to what I had to say. They went to check the system with no obligation. They worked on an alternative that was less costly in the long run for me. They also discovered that my septic tank (solids tank)and was almost full, they said it had probably not been emptied for about 8 years! I used a long time Septic drainage company in the local that claimed they did empty it, but should be emptied every two years. Wish is hard to believe because we are only there about 6 month of the year, were only 2. I believe they solved the true probably that I have spend thousands to solve.

We encountered several additional problems and weather delays as the work progressed. Matchbox handled them well and worked hard to finish the project prior to a family event.

Noah was very professional, spoke well, gave a solid estimate separated parts and labor, brought in a very experienced and considerate crew. This was a very difficult job, requiring access down a steep grade. It required political skill to deal with our very uncooperative, antagonistic neighbor who became a nuisance. He had a very good relationship with the Department of Health inspector, who was very timely in his frequent inspections of the work. Noah kept us apprised of his plans and carried them through exactly as he said he would. I will use them for landscaping this spring.

We hired Matchbax to demolish our garage. We pd in full before job was complete. (Our mistake) Part way through the job, the owner stopped the work, dumping out all that was in the dumpster, onto the driveway, stating that he thought we had asbestos. He said to call him after we get it analyzed & if it's negative he'll be back to finish. 4 days later we call with the results (negative) and sched. him to return. Taking time off from work, waited all day. He did not show. After several voicemails, he returns our call stating that he'd need $1000 more to return. Almost a month later he returned.

I hired Matchbox excavation to create a soccer field at a private High School. We had to move large quantities of earth as one end of the field was four feet lower than the other side. The field was 320 ft. X 220ft. They showed up on time and had right equipment. They where very professional and polite. They completed the job on time, and always answered the phone when I had question. The field was graded prefectly and was back- bladed great. I would highly recomend them. Jack
