The tile in our shower cracked and broke away from the cement board. We had a leak down into the basement because of how the tile was originally installed--with no proper waterproofing done behind the tile itself. We also needed to have the backsplash installed in our kitchen. Nick came and gave us a reasonable bid to complete both the kitchen backsplash and the master shower. He was able to begin within the week--basically as soon as we found tile that we liked! Nick and his crew were very pleasant to have in our house. They were careful with our belonging and laid drop clothes around their work areas to prevent damage and tracking "dirt" around the house. Nick also checked in with us frequently to be sure we liked what he was doing and didn't want to change anything as we went through the process. We would definitely use Nick again if we need more tile work.

When we planned our master bathroom renovation, we had no idea it would turn out the way it did. The first contractor we hired, said it would be a 3-week job and really sold us on his skills (tiling in particular). After 2 months, the bathroom still wasn't finished and the first contractor botched everything terribly. The first contractor's tile work looked like a 12-year old did it. It was horrific. We had to get rid of that contractor and demo everything out to start all over from square one. We were so disappointed, as you could imagine. That's when we found Nick at Masterworks Tile Installation here on Home Advisor. Nick was a lifesaver! He took a horrible tile job (from the other contractor) and turned our bathroom into a thing of beauty! His work ethic is incredible and his attention to detail is AMAZING! The difference between the two jobs was night and day. I wish I could post photos showing the difference in Nick's wonderful work and the other contractor's job. Nick's shower pan alone was a thing of beauty! Nick is honest, extremely detail oriented and a very hard worker. He took great care with everything in our bathroom and you can tell that he really puts his heart into his work. Our bathroom tile is so beautiful - like magazine-worthy beautiful thanks to Nick! Our bathroom was a lot of tiling and Nick did every inch of it himself (except for the demo which was done very carefully by his helper Mike). It took about a month to complete all the tile work and that was fine with us as we knew Nick was taking his time to do everything perfect and right, which is what you want in a bathroom remodel. Even the prep work - backerboard, Red Guard, waterproofing, niches, etc. was done with such care. Every surface was leveled to perfection. We did a very linear tile design and Nick's lines are gorgeous - perfectly straight in every way! All the reviews here on Home Advisor regarding Nick are correct. Seriously, just hire him. His work is amazing and his pricing is more than fair based on the quality of his work! Nick is truly a tile master and we can't recommend him enough. You won't be disappointed.

Nick demo'ed my masterbath and installed a new porcelain subway tile shower with a marble shower bench and niche. His work is amazing, all tile cuts and grout lines are perfect - he has amazing attention to detail and it shows in the quality of his work. He was a great help in selecting materials and selecting other contractors for the work he could not do (frameless shower door, plumbing). I honestly would hire him again in a second, and if we move anytime soon, I'll be asking him to recreate my bathroom again in the new place. He was also very friendly and easy to work with through the whole process.

Nick is great. He properly diagnosed the problem with our original flooring and did a masterful job replacing the Travertine Stone in our master bathroom. He is conscientious about his work and polite in his dealings. Nick removed and replaced the full floor; honoring his time commitments and quoted price. Nick is now our "tile guy" and our friend.

All the reviews here on home advisor speak the truth about Nick with Masterworks Tile. Nick has remarkable work ethic and an outstanding attention to detail. He is very trustworthy and communicates well. I was so pleased with Nick and his guys I looked forward to paying them for their outstanding work. After meeting and interacting with them, they became (in my mind) guests in my home rather than hired contractors. Thanks again.

The granite work Nick did on my kitchen changed the look of the entire house.. Excellent job!!! Nick is a true professional, who does his job in accordance to his believes.. very easy to work with.. Nick installed a granite counter tops and back splash on my kitchen and did it in a very skilfully. He is very detail oriented, and willing to go extra mile to please his customers. Nick also cleaned and sealed countertops in two rooms, one limestone and one granite. He polished an outside rock bench top and set a path stone. He will be back to grout a shower. Excellent work and very focused. A true professional.
