After I explained that my townhouse is 3 stories and very near the beach, and that the windows are salt stained, they show up, 1 guy 4 girls and NO LADDER, 2 rolls of paper towels and a bottle of disinfectant! Totally PATHETIC!
They accomadate the customer, do a very good job, friendly and fair prices.
Customer service was exceptional! Will l use them again and recommend to friends who go there.
did a good job
All around great experience.
Took a while to get them to come but once there they did a very good job. Would hire them again.
I was excited to find Maids available to do the spring opening cleaning at our beach home in Stone Harbor, NJ as well as our beach condo in North Wildwood, NJ. I spoke with John, the owner's son, who was very positive in our conversation and he quoted me a very low price. I explained that we had an old cottage with knotty pine paneling, hardwood floors, no heat or air and that the water and electricity is turned off in the winter. I explained that mattresses and cushions would need to be aired out outside so we would hope for a dry sunny day. I mentioned that in addition to a complete and thorough cleaning that I would love to have the windows done as well. I again told him that $175 was too low and I would pay more for the work I needed done. He told me he had a crew of 8 including 2 men to do the heavy lifting and power washing of the windows. For the condo, it has AC/Heat and all the bells and whistles that the cottage does not have. That cleaning would be thorough dusting, vacuuming and deep kitchen and bath cleanings as well as washing of the 23 windows. He said that would also be $175. I thought that was fine for the cleaning but the windows should add cost. He said no, mentioning again his large crew and power washing of the windows. Since the unit is on the 5th floor with a loft, power washing would be impossible without a lift. He disagreed. We scheduled the cleans for Thursday and Friday of last week. On Wednesday, I confirmed with John and suggested since Friday would be sunnier, the cottage should be done then and the condo on Thursday. He said they could do both on Friday and that he had no one else on the schedule that day so I would have everyone on his staff there to clean. I said too many people would be tripping over each other but he said it would work out. The time of 11AM was set for Friday and at 11:23 I called John, wondering where they were. He said he was just leaving his home with the crew and his mother, the owner. The crew began arriving and immediately the women began work. Joanne, the owner, told me she had been sick for weeks and still had the flu. That didn't make me happy and I wondered why she came. I told everyone the first priority was to air out the mattress and cushions. An hour later, I told John, who was sitting on my sofa taking a call, that the mattresses and cushions needed to be outside so they could take the most of the sunshine to air out. Then I took one end of the sofa futon and asked John to take the other so it could air out. Neither of us were happy. Of course his two other men, did not show up. John and his mother left and the women continued to clean. When John returned I asked if his crew could make beds with my clean linens and he said yes. Five minutes later he came out and said the crew was leaving in 15 minutes so I needed to choose what work was most important to be finished. I was stunned. I informed him that he said I had all day and then the
I hired them to do spring cleaning... nothing was dusted, ceiling fans never done, toilets not cleaned, carpet not vacuumed. I called to discuss this with them and they got very nasty with me and basically called me a liar. I would never recommend them to anyone.
