Write a ReviewMy first contact with Mount Valley Foundations was with Carlton Cisson. He was prompt, professional and provided details of what needed to be done with a drawing explaining all and a quote right on the spot. Every time I reached out to Carton after that first meeting regarding the task at hand, scheduling the work or just to answer questions...Carlton responded quickly. For anyone that might possibly be needing foundation work of any kind, I highly recommend Carlton Cission as the first point of contact. Shaun Dixon, Alex Hernandez, Milton Martin and Dre Nesbitt were the team assigned to replacing the entire foundation of the wedding venue restroom I hired Mount Valley for (from the interior floor to the dirt on the ground beneath...literally). 100% rotten through by years of undetected moisture from inadequate airflow and dehumidification. Shaun (the forman) was in constant communication with me throughout the entire process of rebuilding. He didn't just explain in words, he took time to visually point out the areas this construction would be addressing and what I should expect. Shaun was clear and concise in describing what was being done and answering all of my questions (which was many). The entire process, including the work ethic of this 4-man team, was conducted in a very professional manner. A grusome task, while keeping a friendly, personable demeanor throughout. Hoping I never have to have such foundation work ever done again, but will certainly call Mount Valley again, if I do!
Finish much quicker quicker than originally expected. House feels much better now. You have to come back out soon fix one little problem but other than that no issue.
All personnel were curtious and professional. They were able adapt to hidden problems in the foundation. They informed me of what they were doing and why. Area was left clean. I would hire them again.
Clint Weimann was so very professional and explained issues with my foundation in a manner I could understand. The inspection was extremely thorough and I felt that I was getting the right kind of repair. I did not know what exactly was wrong when I contacted Mount Valley.
Had problems with supervisor level. The General Manager became involved and took care of the issue.
An encapsulation and placing of a dehumidifier was done on February 3rd. Afterwards I was told that they had no available electrician to put in an outlet. had to wait around 2 weeks for an electrician to install a dedicated outlet in the crawlspace. I then called and requested an inspection.The inspector came within a week and told me that some things that were done required repairs. I have to wait until March 17 to get the repairs and second inspection completed. I feel that if I hadn't called as many times as I had nothing would of been done. I paid in full which was my mistake as the reviews I read were much different than what I experienced and I had trust in the company. This dragged out process is quite annoying and unexpected as I was told that the entire project would take 4-6 hours followed by an inspection.
Jeff and his assistant were outstanding. They came on time, told us what they would do, walked up through, and did the job exactly as they said they would; that part was excellent. Customer Service: When we contracted, we were offered 12 months as same as cash and went forward with the paperwork. However, when we got to the actual financing contract, we were not entirely comfortable with it and opted not to finance but to pay cash on delivery. We were told that the financing material had all been canceled. A day before the job was done, we received finance agreements and notification of access to our credit scores, etc to open a new line of credit. I called Customer Service and Sky was great but said she could not answer the question and referred me to Amy, the office manager. As instructed, I left her a voicemail call-back request. No response. A few days later, another voicemail request, and no response. Another 3 days and I called Sky again, and she said she would remind Amy again. I sent a text message to Amy but no response. Four days later, I received a follow-up note from Sky asking if I had heard and called her. Another apology and another follow-up reminder and another call but still no response. I gave up. In short, the folks doing the frontline work and the product are great. However, the administrative end, assuming that the Office Manager is an example of leadership quality, was not so great.
Great experience with these guys. Timely and efficient with no issues.

the peace of mind that I know without a doubt that my house is safe to be inand will last many more years is pricless. The crew was professional and plesant and curtious to work with. they explained everything well and worked well together.
