Clearing land and moving trees around a family home that needed dirt brought in, built up, leveled off and trees moved to ensure that water flows away from the house and that there is a pleasing space around the home. We have hired Joel at Leatherneck Land Clearing to complete multiple projects around our homestead and couldn’t have been happier with the outcomes! We originally contracted them to assist with clearing and grading a section of land to build a 40’ x 60’ building. Throughout the process he was extremely patient with us as we changed our mind more than once on the location of the building site due to unforeseen circumstances and even helped guide us to achieve the best outcome possible. We were so pleased, we hired him again shortly after to thin and mulch a few acres of overgrown woods on the property and it completely transformed the landscape. When I moved into a beautiful old home on a 1 acre city block (with pecan trees), I didn’t know how much work the very visible yard would need. I found Joel on the Nextdoor app, and he came out to see what needed to be done. He was knowledgeable, kind, and enthusiastic about fixing my yard… kill weeds, trim a tree a bit, remove a dead bush, trim bushes, and clean up the leaves. He paid attention to every detail, even working some trim and move a rose bush so that it’ll come back out. He did all of this over 2 days, working into the dark and even freezing rain. I’m thrilled and thankful. I will definitely ask him to come back and do work, and I recommend him without reservation.
