Larry is a true professional. Great attention to detail and maintained contact with me with each project milestone. I wish he did more than doors, I would hire him for everything. We couldn't be happier with our new door.

He came and did a great job in just a few hours. My 2 doors were installed correctly and look great as well as making my family safer.

Responded quickly to request for estimate and arriving to give estimate for the job. I was able to have the work accomplished in less than a week from the time I contacted HomeAdvisor and this was done during the holiday season. I would highly recommend.

Finding professional, competent contractors and craftsmen (or women) for home improvement needs these days is almost impossible. There is no follow-up, no return calls, occasionally "no shows", and no attention to details surrounding the actual business matters associated with getting a contractor/craftsman to work with you. I have always said, builders and craftsman and contractors have so much expertise to share, and they are so good at what they do; but, most don't seem to do as well as they would like and the reason for this is that they have to return calls, they need to keep a calendar, etc. L&S Home Improvements is a whole other matter. Mr Larry Harper is a door specialist. I contacted him through HomeAdvisor and he promptly called me, set up a meeting to come and look at the job (he was punctual), and he said he could do it. We made a plan for him to install the exterior and interior doors on my home on a specified date and at a specified time. Sure enough, at 8:00 a.m. on the scheduled day, Mr. Harper was right there ready to begin the job with no reminder call from me. He worked non-stop for 3.5 hours and installed an exterior storm door and an interior slab door. His work was absolutely perfect, his charges appropriate, and his clean-up was spotless. The best thing I liked about Mr. Harper, having had some building background myself, was that he was so intelligent. He explained to me what he was doing every step of the way, he was committed to installing both doors correctly, and he has a terrific personality. Not only were my 2 doors put on with such precision, but I felt I made a nice friend along the way, and I know who to refer my friends and neighbors to if they need a door specialist. Thank you Larry for sharing your expertise with me and thank you for being so kind to me and my wife.
