Kevin Babcock General Contracting

My wife and I hired Kevin Babcock General Contractor to construct a 3 season room addition to our home. Kevin quoted a very reasonable price, for the project which included a start and end date, for the job. The project was started and finished within the scheduled time. Kevin is excellent with communicating what is going to happen, on the project, on a regular basis. He also answers any question you may have during the course of the job. His people are very professional and skilled, at all aspects of the project. In addition to the construction Kevin also handled all of the paper work including filing the plans, which we had already prepared, through to delivery of the C of O. Kevin also provided additional value, to the project, which just made it better, at no extra cost. We are very pleased with our new 3 season room and highly recommend Kevin Babcock, General Contractor.

Kevin and his team did a great job - the front of my house is transformed. They demolished an existing brick stoop and replaced it with a small deck, which looks great. They also repaired and repointed brick steps leading down to the sidewalk. I had talked to a few other contractors previously and had a kind of vision of what I wanted. Kevin was able to make it a reality. They worked quickly (without rushing), neatly, and conscientiously, always consulting me on the small details as these came up. The job was permitted, being in the City of Newburgh, and Kevin also took care of that so there was no stress for me. I recommend him unreservedly.

Kevin and his crew were great. If we could give them more stars we would. The professional work thst was done is excellent. Kevin explains everything that he is going to do. And also ask for your opinion. Deck was finished in a timely manner. When they were finished everything was cleaned up. Never knew they were there. If y9u are looking for a professional , Kevin is definitely your go to man. HIRE KEVIN, you won't be disappointed

Kevin and his assistant, Santos, were very professional. Their work was excellent. They were hired to remove my old deck and replace it with a new one. Kevin was a pleasure to work with. He kept me constantly informed regarding progress. He delivered everything as promised and on time I will definitely consider Kevin and his team for future work. You won’t go wrong with Kevin handing your project.

He did excellent job.on my new deck. He took down the old deck and replaced everything He was on time and all I can say is that excellent job. The deck was top notch they always on time they and finished early I would highly recommend him he is excellent

Scope of project: rebuild our lower and upper deck and add a screened in porch to the upper deck. Excellent quality work and detail!! Great crew, kept the work area clean at the end of the day. Kevin communicates well. He and his team take pride in their work. Our new screened in porch is our favorite room!! We will hire him again for rebuilding of our front porch.

We were very pleased with the work that was done. It was not an easy job to repair a tongue and groove porch, but it came out perfect.

Kevin helped us turn a dream into reality: After hiring him to build a deck for us, we decided to hire him again to take on a large scale remodel/new build. We had an old 2 story barn attached to our house which was completely unfinished, and used as storage when we moved in. Kevin helped us to convert that space into a brand new 1300 square foot apartment with new HVAC (geothermal!), brand new kitchen w/ custom cabinets, 1 full and 1 half bath, laundry, vaulted ceilings, reclaimed lumber for all wood floors, brand new windows, doors, all of it. My in-laws are now happily retired and living with us, loving their brand new home. His crew was amazing. They worked hard on this project and came in very close to their original estimate, despite the fact that he quoted a price pre-Covid, and the cost of materials went through the roof during the project. He worked closely with his sub-contractors (plumber, electrician, HVAC) to ensure they were delivering a quality product that fit within our budget. He was in regular communication with our architect throughout the project as well. He even dealt with our annoying building inspector long after we got the C of O, because Kevin understands the value of customer service. Kevin is the best. Hire this man!
