His subs were not very good, especially electrical sub. Grading around shop is inadequate, shop floods in heavy rain. I will put in drains and a French drain which will correct the problem. Basic building is decent construction and looks very good.

Robert, as you know, the grading was done according to the county regulations and specifications. and could not have been done any different, otherwise it would have failed the county final inspection. As we discussed, the drainage issue was a result of the high elevation of your pre-existing septic system which created a grade slope from the rear of the property and draining towards the rear of the house. This condition was there long before we arrived. Adding the garage to the rear of the property only amplified the drainage issue. As you know, we worked with the county, and the engineer of record, to modify the drainage design to make the best of a bad situation that we inherited. We found Ken to be a straight forward, great guy to work with. Very professional and courteous. All the folks that either contract from him or work for him directly were also very friendly and courteous. If we had questions, none of them hesitated to explain anything. The garage itself came out great, and we are extremely happy we chose Brobst Builder LLC to build our garage. The quality and the price were right on. We will not hesitate to call him again with any other construction projects in the future. Great job Ken! And thank you!

We did not buy the house that required a bigger garage, but we hired this builder for the house that we did purchased that needed remodeling. They are good men, but from the start they always seem to busy with other projects and lacked good communication and attention to detail. Unfortunately we had to hire another contractor to fix and finish the remodeling of our house.

The homeowner hired a flooring contractor to tile the floors after our structural and finish work was completed. Some baseboard needed to be adjusted to fit to the new floor so we came back and took care of it.
