It was average work but the communication skills were not good. He did not tell me what he was doing. He was very talkative, The contractor failed to communicate his schedule effectively, often leaving without providing a daily project review. He missed an entire day without calling or texting. When he finally arrived late the following day after I had to call him for an update he claimed he had been ill. I expressed that a simple phone call or text would have been the professional way to handle the situation.

Ken noticed a couple of other problems by my deckâ bulging vinyl siding panel and outdated outside porch lights. He made these repairs in addition to the deck repair. He thoroughly cleaned my deck & deck furniture and then waited several days for the deck to dry before he hand painted the cedar railing & spindles.

Ken was very diligent, his work is excellent. I was repairing a 30 year old deck that had extensive wear. He replaced only what truly needed to be replaced which helped save $ greatly, especially given the high cost of lumber these days. He also did interior drywalll and finish trim, fairly large job, work was excellent. He can do just about anything, and do it well. Highly recommend.

I cannot recommend Ken highly enough. I am planning on having him do more work this fall. He is a great carpenter and a very nice human being.

Trustworthy for big and small jobs, such as wood working, electric and plumbing. I like his approach and he takes time to explain if any problems arise !
