    - HomeAdvisor provided JMS as a contractor to perform our Install or Replace Interior Doors project on October 1st - We reached out to JMS and scheduled an appointment to discuss the project immediately afterwards - We discussed the project and decided to hire JMS on October 2nd - The same day we provided JMS examples and pictures of the door we wished to install. - JMS recommended using their preferred vendor for ordering the door - We agreed with their recommendation and also paid for the door in advance so an order can be placed for the door asap - JMS ordered the door from their recommended vendor and confirmed our install appointment for Wednesday November 18th - On Friday November 6th, JMS told us: Your door is still confirmed to arrive November 17th. I do not suspect any changes at this point if something arises will let you know. - The day before install, Tuesday November 17th, JMS told us: Your door is due between 2-5PM today. I will pick up the door and see you tomorrow at 9AM. - On the day of install, Wednesday November 18th at 9:30AM, JMS informed us: Your door was not delivered! I called the door vendor and they tell me it will arrive on November 24th. - In all fairness, JMS also offered a full refund if we decided not to move forward with this project - But we decided to give JMS another chance and rescheduled the install appointment to Wednesday November 25th, one day after the revised door delivery date of November 24th - But once again, Tuesday November 24th, JMS contacted us at 10:44 AM indicating: I just found out your door will not arrive until December 8th. - So we decided to no longer continue this project with JMS and requested a full refund, which we received two days after, on Friday November 26th. - We have since found another contractor for this project - The new contractor recommended a standard non-custom door for our project, and we accepted their recommendation - We hired the contractor for this project and our door was actually delivered and fully installed approximately one week after, on Thursday December 3rd So in summary, JMS recommended and used a very unreliable vendor for ordering a door for our project. The door delivery date was missed twice on November 17th and November 24th. The unreliable JMS door vendor is likely being used for other projects as well. So again you can make your own decision whether to hire JMS for your project or not. But we certainly can not recommend using JMS based on our very bad experience described above.

    We are very sorry that Paul A. order was delayed. on October 12 not the 2nd Paul approved the quote. On October 13 I ordered the door. Paul and I agreed that a custom door would have a better look then a standard. On October 23 I was informed of the production delay. I reached out to Paul immediately and offered a full refund. He declined stating "he was not blaming me." ?????? My vendors are usually very reliable but, these are unusual times. As we are all aware the current health crises has seriously disrupted the supply chain. Please review the other 37 reviews for a real look at we are and what we do.

    I cannot say enough good things about my experience hiring Joe to replace our 25-year-old wooden deck with the new composite deck. He showed up to begin the project on time and completed the project on schedule. He showed up every day and when unanticipated issues arose he took responsibility for them - demonstrating a strong sense of integrity. I appreciated his strive for perfection on the job - he clearly thought through the work to yield a better finished product than the original had been. I would definitely hire joe again and enthusiastically recommend him to others.
