Reviews
Write a ReviewJason is extremely reliable and thorough with the drywall technique. He cares about his outcome and has a very pleasant demeanor.
Quality of work was excellent. He tries to satisfy his customer. I was pleased with the finished job.
I called Jason on a Tuesday for a repair of my drywall. He came out next day and assessed it and while he could have done a band aid job, he explained everything clearly and professionally and I decided for it to be completely repaired. He was finished by Friday and I couldn’t be happier with the results. All at a fair price
Jason did a great job!!!! He was always on time and followed thru on his word. He is very nice and we appreciate his hard work.
DID A GREAT JOB AND AS QUICKLY AS CAN BE DONE FOR DRYWALL REPAIR
Jason and handyman Charles were simply awesome. They provided me with a day and time, arrived early and simply knocked it out of the park. Biggest hit was the cost. Thank you guys for the help.
Reliable and on time
Jason came by, looked over the job, explained what needed was needed to repair and gave me a written estimate. When he saw my hat over near my desk, asked for the estimate back and simply said â I honor those who servedâ and discounted the job. He showed up on time (texted first) each of the days needed for completion of the job. Heâ s a talkative easy going guy who gave us a job well done. I would not only recommend him but will call him for any future repairs.
Prices are well above average. $700 to install a 4×4 piece of Sheetrock that I purchased to fix where my son fell through the ceiling, tape mud, and texture the patch. The second patch was to tape, mud, and texture were a plumber replaced a gas valve in my wall $350. The next item on the list was to paint my home office (ceiling walls & trim) $650. The last piece was to paint my master bedroom (ceiling, walls & trim) $1000. The total agreed-upon price was $2430, and we had to remove all the furniture from every room. Now what I got was a man that on week one showed up later and later every day as he so kindly explained to my wife, because I just did not want to get up week two he showed up between 1030-11 am every day because of other ongoing jobs But left before 3 every day except for two days my wife said something about making progress, so we could get our bedroom back. The whole project went poorly and at the completion of my project Jason left paint spots on my hardwood floors, paint on area rugs, splotchy spots on the wall, wall paint on the ceiling and trim, visible unpainted rings around painted the thermostat, ceiling fans, some electrical wall plates leaving a white ring around it.s When asked about putting paper down Jason replied, yeah I probably should have, but I was just lazy. During the painting of my master bedroom Jason approaches my wife to tell her that the trim work was painted with latex paint over oil-based, it needed to be stripped but was going to cost about as much as the original quote to remove. Still, he was not to sure how to remove it after having tried to scrub it off with ammonia and something leaving peeled paint in random places in my bedroom. My wife said no, and Jason called me to discuss it. I agreed with my wife and said stop I was not going to spend another $2400 on stripping paint. This conversation and estimate led me to attempt to strip the paint myself, which went very wrong and ended up with me, removing the baseboards and chair railing. I acknowledge that my method of stripping the paint came from YouTube and did damage the chair railing and baseboard. So I remove it and asked Jason to texture the walls where they trim was. He said ok and quoted me an additional $1700 to mud and texture the damaged spots. I told him that I flat out could not afford that price after having paid him $2858. Which the extra $425 cost from the original price comes from asking for a second coat of paint to cover up the first bad attempt at painting. We eventually agreed on a lower price. Now on to what I discovered after the job. None of the texture Jason applied to my walls matches the existing texture, over spray from the texture gun is all over my windows, gun safe, refrigerator and a one of a kind hand-carved cane and my floor Commemorating my service in Iraq. He left empty paint cans & trash in every room. In my office, none of the wall plates were put back on, Paint splatter on my office floor that we pointed out on week one. Wall paint on the master bedroom ceiling that I pointed out before paying him. I now have to hire a new contractor to come in to undo Jason work and fix it properly so that I can move back into my bedroom and office. I am also dealing with texts with obscene language and voicemails accusing me of lying and making false accusations from Jason. Unfortunately, for him I was unable to answer these calls and messages while I was at work. These messages are now being sent to Home Advisor along with my request for a refund on the project less the materials.
I appreciate him and all vets. I gave him a bid to fix two Patches and paint 2 rooms, and we agreed on a price a military discounted price. I told him I would be there between 9 and 9:30 unless I had a patch to do in the morning, then I would be later but I would call and let him know. Days into the job, I find out his trim baseboard chair rail door jambs doors window seals all have been painted with latex paint over oil base. That needs to be removed and it is a very long tedious job to do it right and not mess up the wall I just painted. So he did not want to pay me to remove the latex paint off the trim he said he would take care of it. So Kevin decided to burn the paint off the trim and ruined the wall. So now that had to be fixed which was more money, and I gave him a discounted price. He was mad from that point on I can do no right in his eyes. So I fixed his mistake and finished the job. From that point he was unrealistic, rude, and was trying to intimidate me by wearing a sidearm while he was at home. That made me very nervous. So I finished the work, asked him if he liked everything, he said yeah and paid me in full. So I did not think we had any problems, but as you can see he thought we did and if you had given me the chance to make it right I would have. I am sorry things didn't work out I try to be reasonable, but he was not having any of it. I wish the best for him and his family.
Jason did a great job and was very easy to communicate with. He was able to start the job quickly and work around my schedule.
