Write a ReviewIt took almost three months for them to install a patio door. After all that time, it looks like a non-professional did the work, and our screen door won?t shut. I will NEVER use Mr. Handyman again. I paid full quoted price, even though I will have to hire someone else to redo the entire project. Simply a terrible experience.
This was the worst experience I have ever had with a contractor. Jason said he has a 100% satisfaction guarantee but now will not stand behind his work. They installed a tile floor that has uneven tiles over the entire floor where you can see the waves in the floor and even stub your toes on many of the tiles. They grouted and then didn't come back to wipe down the grout and tiles the next day like the instructions dictate. The trim work they did has large gaps everywhere and nails sticking out because they didn't use enough pressure in the nail gun. They also didn't install the metal trim piece between the carpet and tiles so now there is a gap where you can see the uneven cuts on the end of the tiles. This was scheduled for a 4 day installation and it has been over 4 MONTHS of my basement being tore apart and unusable. Now Jason refuses to stand behind his work and says they fulfilled the contract because the contract says they needed to install the tile and they did.

Throughout the job, we made multiple attempts to address concerns as they were raised and to work toward reasonable corrective solutions based on the agreed scope of work. As discussed during the project, the work was performed according to the contract and industry standards for the conditions present at the time. When concerns were brought to our attention, we offered to review and address specific items; however, those options were ultimately declined, and the project was stopped at the customer?s direction. While we do stand behind our workmanship, our satisfaction guarantee does not extend to full removal of completed work or reimbursement for materials purchased independently, particularly when opportunities to correct concerns were not allowed to proceed. We regret that we were unable to meet this customer?s expectations and consider the matter closed. We remain committed to providing professional service and clear communication on all projects.
I had several small issues with various doors in my house.
