Write a ReviewJM did a wonderful job and their customer service is outstanding!! I highly recommend them!!
JM Paving gave me a fair price and the work looks pretty good, i"m happy with how the project turnd up.
JM paving does very good work and has very good customer service, but felt a little pressure when he was asking for more money or trying to get you go for the higher end contract.
We provided asphalt paving for this customer. He asked if we could provide steps - a separate job. We advised we could, at an additional cost. We were willing to work with him on the price. The customer had us move forward, when we were done the customer didn't want to pay for the extra work.
Joe and his guys did a great job! But, I would rather they had removed the entire old drive even though I was told that one section was ok. Also, the sealing I asked for at the end of the job was pricey, but I had it done anyway and Joe promised a free application next year. Overall, I would definitely recommend.
For what the customer asked for - sealing - at the end of the job, it was a reasonable rate, it was competitive. Plus as he says, we will be providing a free application next year.
Joseph was a pleasure to work with. Great job.
wonderful value for money
The best thing is Joe was there when I needed him. I called 5 different Paving company, everyone said they can not come till March. I needed my driveway to be fixed before I move in. Thanks to Joe who replied and performed a wonderful job in a timely manner. His approach was very professional. i am very happy with his service and also follow up was great too. . I am going to call him for my future needs.
The contractor recently notified me that the coating placed on the asphalt was not actually a sealant which I was originally told. When I read about sealant, I was shocked at the sticker price of an additional $650 charged to me when sealing an asphalt would cost about $200 and should wait at least a year for the asphalt to settle. It was explained to me that the coating placed on the driveway was liquid asphalt, not a sealant and was necessary since the asphalt was placed at a cold temperature and may crack during the winter. The contractor offered to respray the work with liquid asphalt as part of the service in the spring to ensure the quality of the driveway at no additional expense to me. The workers were friendly and did their job. I dealt only with the manager on site and offered to remove and replace the existing fencing post to my driveway (provided that I have all the cement and fence post already available) without extra charge. The driveway was made perfectly that it was leveled with my porch in the back, so I didn't have to build a ramp from my driveway to my porch and saved me some time and money. I placed a 4 for the value for the money and 3 for customer service because I wasn't told of the additional $650 charged. I understand that normally, paving should be done during the summer so the driveway won't crack. When I asked whether it was feasible to do it during fall when it was cold, I was told it was ok and signed a contract for $3800. The contractor actually told me that the manufacturer or whoever produced the asphalt informed him that it was necessary to put the coating and the cost for the liquid asphalt was passed down to me.
good value
Good value for money. Able to accomodate customer needs at a resonable price.
