Barry and his team were fantastically professional. Fast, clean, exacting. Gave us great advice and we had gorgeous results repairing, cleaning, staining and sealing our decks. We then used him to repair a brick wall and some brick facade damage, repair our greenhouse, tile a bath and re-frame a door. We will definitely use his services again.

We hired Ivy Renovators to remodel our 30 year old kitchen. We had previously used them to completely remodel 3 bathrooms (down to the studs). Since those projects came out great, we decided to use them again for the much larger kitchen project. They performed demolition down to the studs and ceiling joists, did some new framing, all new sheetrock, taping and painting. Ivy Renovators also removed 2 existing windows and replaced them with a custom window in a different location. The design of the new kitchen layout was performed by the owner, Barry, in conjunction with the cabinet company design specialist. Ivy Reno installed all the cabinets and associated molding which was very difficult due to the fact that the floor was not level. They used lasers, levels and precise measurements to make sure all the cabinets came out perfect. Ivy Reno also installed brand new railings, posts and balusters on the stairs. They stained and polyurethaned them and buffed them to a very smooth finish. In addition to rough framing, Ivy Reno also did some fine detail carpentry work. All baseboard, window and door trim was replaced and painted. They also installed new insulation over the kitchen ceiling with a very high R value, much better than the 6 inches of crushed fiberglass we had previously. Ivy Reno cleaned up the work area at the end of each day and also used plastic sheeting to block off that area from the rest of the house. Another thing about Ivy Renovators is that the owner was always on-site for the duration of project. He did not sub-contract out the work, nor did he send "kids" or day laborers to do the work. The only parts that did need to be sub-contracted out was for electrical and plumbing work. I considered his prices to be fair and roughly in line with other contractors in the Westchester / Putnam area.
