Some of the contractors could have been more cleaner and neater when it was time to clean up,but the staff at Houston Custom Carpets was on top of everything

The project ended up being disappointing. My sales person didn't realize that my existing tile might now match up with the new flooring. The solution was to put wooden transitions in that were to high and made the house look broken up. I ended up spending more money to have tile in my kitchen, breakfast nook and hall torn out to eliminate most of the transitions which caused the grout lines not to match up. They came up with a solution, but it's not right and could have been avoided had my sales person not made the initial mistake. I felt like I had to carry the financial burden for his mistake and I'm not at all happy about it.

My 101 year old MomÂ’s house in Houston was flooded by Harvey and the fire department has to rescue her. I live in Seattle. We gutted the house removing all carpets, cabinets, and furniture. I had to find someone to repair the rather large house and I could not go down to Houston. I thought of HomeAdvisor. I put in her zip code and three possibilities came up. Tom at Houston Carpets and Remodel in Kingwood was best prepared to do the large job. We are two weeks from completion but I believe in three weeks my 101 year old Mom will be back in her house. Thank you HomeAdvisor.

Houston Carpet answered my call right away, the arrived on time to asses the job. The follow up with a complete estimate within 24 hrs. They started the job when they says they would and finished on time. The workers were very professional. Would definitely hire them again.

The work was done very quickly and professionally. The workers showed up when they said they would and worked quickly. From tear out of old tub and surround to completion was 4 days. Just waiting on the glass shower doors and it will be complete. Very pleased with workmanship and timeline.
