Reviews
Write a ReviewJohn came by to give me an estimate on a small repair needed behind my gutter in the front corner of my house. A tree was overgrown and needed trimming back. There was rotten wood which needed to be replaced. He gave me a price on the spot and I said when can you do it? Later I received an email with a written estimate and a date we agreed on. The repairman, John came on time and finished when he said he would. The cost was exactly what I expected. I'm so relieved my house is in good repair now. I recommend House Doctor highly!
John did a excellent job on repairing the deck, looks like a new deck. Did a good job on power washing and painting foundation. Office staff Annlia was one of the nicest customer service people I have dealt with in a long time.
were on time, cleaned after work done
This company was hired to do replace plumbing fixtures in my master bathroom and texture a drywall ceiling in the basement due to a water leak. The technicians had no idea how to make the ceiling texture match the rest of the ceiling texture in the room. They did not know that the tool they were supposed to use was a stipple brush. I showed them an online video about haw to repair the ceiling a went to a local hardware store and bought a stipple brush for them to use. Since they had never done this work, when they began, the ceiling did not look good. I ended up doing the ceiling myself. The plumbing was acceptable but the workers cracked my whirlpool tub in four places trying to install the faucet. The cracks could have been avoid had the plumber read the instructions that came with the faucett. The owner came out and tried to repair the cracks but one of the cracks remain. In the process of trying to repair the cracks, the owner took the faucet off and reinstalled it incorrectly and we had a leak in the downstairs kitchen ceiling that evening. The owner had to return the next day and reinstall the tub faucett correctly. The company also tried to charge me $400.00 more than the original estimate even though the work was not satisfactory. After I refused to pay a higher price for substandard work, the company owner agreed to accept the original estimate. I cannot recommend this company because their work is not professional. This company does not have the capability to do these projects in a professional manner. I now have a cracked tub, an additional ceiling that needs repaired and a ceiling that does not match texture on the adjoining ceiling.
