Henry is a talented painter with years of experience. He transformed our old bedroom set into something unique and new- all for a reasonable price. I would highly recommend.

Henry did a stellar job painting my wall to mimic a wallpaper-esque design. His strive for perfection and detail resulted in an effect that one could only believe was produced by machine. After painting the initial stripe pattern, he crafted a unique stencil and meticulously applied it over each stripe, making sure the stencil components were perfectly equidistant from each other. Truly a master craftsman.

Our business hired Henry to paint a mural on our wall and provide restoration work on some antique furniture. We explained what direction we wanted, he listened and then did an amazing job. Since the painting was completed we have gotten non-stop compliments from customers who stop to admire it when they walk through the front door. He also restored several pieces of furniture to a pristine level: â brand newâ in an antique sense. After he was done, the gouges, chips, and knicks in the surface were visually gone. The tables also seem to be holding up better in general, as they see a lot of wear and tear through constant use. We hired them again later on to epoxy some tables, and paint calligraphy on the wall. We at Open Door Tea couldnâ t be happier with the Henryâ s work on this mural and restoration. I would recommend him to anyone and any business.

I am absolutely in love with the end product of my stairwell mural! Its exactly what I was looking for…It was important for me to have something that was subtle emitting tranquility and peace but at the same time a statement piece. I dabbled with the idea for a while but once I connected with Henry he helped me conceptualize and realize my vision. He was very helpful with tips but also listened to what I wanted customizing it to my wants. Henry was very pleasant to work with and meticulous with the painting. It was his idea to put a Polish flag to the mast as an ode to my family roots which now I really appreciate in the painting. Additionally, his son Dominick was very helpful in arranging the project. Agnes did an amazing job refinishing our dining room set. She was communicative and kept me updated on her progress. We worked together to find the perfect finish to fit the style I was going for. The project ended up being much more labor intensive than was originally anticipated but Dom stuck to his original quote which was very fairly priced. Overall I am extremely happy with the finished product and I love that my 25 year old dining room set looks brand new!

You aren't just getting someone who knows how to restore wood, Henry is an artist. Of the highest caliber. When I think about the three different needs that I had in terms of wood repair, two of them were very bad water stains on heirloom antiques - the worst kind of damage. I was expecting someone to be able to make things look 75% better, but Henry made it a labor of love and was meticulous in his workmanship to make the markings almost disappear. We actually talked art for a bit and I learned that he is an extremely accomplished painter across multiple media. As an artist myself, it takes one to know one. I am so glad I did not leave my antiques in the hands of someone who did not know what they were doing. You can trust Henry to do an incredible job. I am thrilled with the results. Note to all, don’t keep plants on top of nice furniture! Great communications via his son, fyi.

Henry has worked restoring several antique items for me. He is an artist, turning old items into beautiful and functional pieces! He is attentive to every detail. He cares for pieces as if they are his own. The cost is reasonable for the effort he puts into the tasks. I highly recommend Henry and Son!
