Write a ReviewMy roof was replaced by Hansons 9 years ago. Since then I have had nothing but problem after problem. I hired another contractor to replace windows, siding, and some other repairs including pouring concrete. Hansons was out at the same time the concrete was being poured for my front patio. They sat on the edge of the roof, pushed fascia that was just hung down by over an inch, dropped debris into freshly poured concrete, etc. I still have leaks, I now have exposed wood below the drip edge, their fix for the fascia was to bend the end of the metal. I have drywall damage in my home from roof leaks that they wont address, consistent roof leaks that they come out to patch, eventually. Now I can not get a call back from anyone and my problems are not being corrected or fixed. Save yourself the headache and NEVER hire this company
.
I was told when the sales person was here. that it would be about 8 weeks back in April 25 2018. That was going to be the 2nd to the last week of July. I had to call them by then. They said it would be a few more weeks out. On Friday September 14th 2018 they called and said"last part of the week of September17th." Here it is Friday September 21, 2018 and they arent here yet with work that has been paid in full. No job has been started or finished. I am so disappointed and really wish I never paid for it in full and shouldn't have hired them.
Keep a constant eye on them. My roof wasn't installed as discussed before I signed the contract. I was probably overcharged for a roof that really didn't need to be replaced at this time. I could justify that if they had finished the job as agreed upon. They didn't and absolutely refuse to come back and fix it. The roof would have been beautiful but they wrecked it and are fighting me to not have to fix the problem. I keep getting told to contact a person who may or may not exist. I've seen on other reviews that no one ever gets back to them about their complaint.
Efficient and organized
Took about three weeks to install from signing papers to getting the gutters put in. Received several phone calls throughout the process and after the install. People on the phone were very nice and helpful. The guys who did the install were friendly and quick. They cleaned up after themselves and answered all of my questions. Reliable company and would use them again.
my 2nd time with hansons ,you cant go wrong
What work that was completed was not the same as the statement of work that was agreed soon.
Bradley Case was the salesman who had come out to speak to me about the work I need to have done with my roof. I was impressed by his presentation, his professionalism and the thing that really sold me was the lifetime guarantee. I had done my homework on this company before contacting them but he really sealed the deal! It will be at least six more weeks before they can come out, but it will be done before our Michigan winter kicks into high gear and I am confident that the roof being installed is the highest quality material being installed by professionals.
I hired Hansons to replace my gutters, the price was very fair and the Hansons workers was very friendly and professional, my gutters look great. I would recommend Hansons to everybody needing a home improvement project.
