Hamilton's price was competitive. The phone representative sound professional and courteous. However, the technician they sent seem very inexperience. He was performing the work (collecting asbestos samples) via Facetime with another senior technician. Also, he only brought a 2-step ladder trying to climb and pull himself up into the attic; he requested to come back the next day, which I'm not available. I ended up borrowing a 3-step ladder from the occupant for the technician. It was risky seeing him pulling himself up into the attic. On his way down, I have to spot him landing his foot on the ladder since the borrowed ladder was still not tall enough.

Thanks for the feedback David. We need to get him a different ladder so that this doesn't happen again. Sorry about that... As for Facetiming w/an expert: I'm glad he did. Even though he has probably taken 1500 to 2000 test samples and he is fully trained, there must have been something he needed to ask our guru about in that moment to make him feel more comfortable... and I love that. I would rather have a tech humbly ask questions when something is unique or new than have them take guesses or making ill informed decisions about asbestos. Sending my guru out to do every job would triple our price, so we leverage his expertise and supervision as best we can with technology. I'm sure you understand. We appreciate your pateince. Who knows... maybe next time I'll be called out to do a job at your house in a pinch (I'm the CEO), and even though I've taken over 6000 samples myself, I might just pull out my phone and call our guru myself to tap into his expertise. I'm not above that. Bottom line is that we want to do the job right. We want to bring love and care to every interaction. so if you didn't feel that, then our bad. I am grateful for your feedback and for allowing Hamilton Testing to serve you. Next time I hope we'll be better and I hope we make you feel more safe and comfortable. Sounds like we have a little work to do there.
