Abraham was professional, prompt in communication, on time to give a free estimate and articulate the work needed to be done and how to do it. He gave the best price and was able to come first thing the next morning and repair my fence’s gate. His quality of work, economic pricing, communication, and professionalism was A+. I definitely plan to request his services for future projects. Thank you sir.

I recently hired Grove & Anderson Co. for a painting project, and I couldn’t be more pleased with the results. Abraham did an outstanding job—he completely transformed my room into a space that looks brand new and absolutely beautiful. His attention to detail and commitment to doing things professionally truly stood out. He took his time to ensure every corner, edge, and finish was perfect. The quality of the work exceeded my expectations, and I highly recommend Grove & Anderson Co. to anyone looking for high-quality painting and reliable service. Thank you, Abraham, for your dedication and excellent craftsmanship!

Abraham was great to work with. He was able to accommodate our small window of opportunity, and flexed his schedule to do the work before our move in date. He was prompt, always kept me up to date on what was happening, did a great job of installing new flooring and left the job site clean and all trash removed. I would recommend him for any work that fits his scope of business.

My story begins with a leak in the primary bathroom. I noticed water on the floor near the toilet, called my plumber to come check it out and he realized there was a bigger issue. The toilet had been slowly leaking into the surrounding walls and floor. I called a water mitigation company and filed a claim with my insurance company. My insurance adjuster recommended I find a contractor through Angi for the rebuild. I interviewed 3 contractors and chose Abraham Grove with Grover & Anderson. He submitted his bid to my insurance company and it was approved. I agreed to pay extra ($2065) to remove the bathtub and convert it to a standing shower. I submitted the first deposit on February 26th, 2025 for $2100. I was told the project would take 5 weeks. I paid $2200 on March 8th to mostly cover the plumber's cost .The next payment was requested on March 18th for $1700. I assumed that the project would still finish on April 10th because that is what I was being told over and over again by Abraham Grove, yet I was not seeing much progress being made. At 4.5 weeks into the primary bathroom project, little to no progress had been made (still no tile at all) and I discovered a leak in my 2nd bathroom. Water mitigation was called out again and because the damage was thought to be minimal I did not file a claim with my insurance company. I consulted my handyman, but he was not able to take on the project, so Abraham agreed to take on the project of reconstructing the second bathroom as well as the first. We agreed that work on the primary bathroom would pause while he worked quickly to fix my 2nd bathroom (because at this point all of our family was sharing 1 bathroom). I asked him to match the existing tile in the bath/shower and he agreed. He took an extra existing tile I had to match it, yet he purchased and then glued on the tile without realizing it was the wrong shade of white. I have attached a photo of this. I thought because it was his mistake that he would cover the cost of making it right, however he did not and told me it would be an additional $1000 to do so. I declined his offer. Communication continued to decline after this and there would be days where he would just not show up at all to work on my projects. When I confronted him about it, he said he was having medical issues. I was empathetic to that and asked him to communicate better about what was going on. He assured me he would. However, the lack of communication and unreliability continued. He would tell me something would be completed by a certain date, then when that date came and went another excuse was made. I finally communicated that I did not want him to work on my 2nd bathroom anymore and to focus on getting my primary bathroom completed as soon as possible on April 28th. On April 30th I realized he had installed the faucet in my 2nd bathroom without properly sealing it (confirmed by the plumber who fixed it immediately). This has created a water leak that is now going to cost upwards of $1500 dollars to fix. I am attaching photos of all the damage done by this leak. It damaged my daughter s closet wall and floor, the drywall in the bathroom, and the wall and floor in the extra bedroom. Though he did almost finish my tile floor in the primary bath, it looks and feels uneven when you walk on it. I ve had it looked at and it was not done correctly and will have to be redone. I ve attached a photo for reference. He also broke my threshold flooring piece which will have to be replaced. I ve included a photo of that as well. I ve also included a photo of what the primary bath looks like as of April 30th so that the scope of work that has been completed and uncompleted can be seen. The shower and toilet of the bathroom are still not usable at this time.

Abraham did an amazing job repairing both my personal residence and my rental property. His work was thorough, professional, and completed in a timely manner. My tenants are very happy with the results, and I’m extremely satisfied with the quality and attention to detail. I truly appreciate his reliability and communication throughout the process. Looking forward to continuing a great working relationship with him—many more jobs to come!

I ask that they repair a brand new base of s 2 piece shelve that was scratched in delivery. I was never told what they planned to do. They kept the piece long enough for it to be in excellent condition. When they finally brought it back, it appeared to have some type of laminate that immediately buckled. When I should pictures, I was told to supply the material I wanted and they?d pay the labor. Mind you I?d already paid for the repair already. They finally came back to pick up the piece of furniture to repair the damage done from the first attempt. I communicated to them that I wanted the piece to look like that of the piece left behind. A Distressed look. When they finally delivered this time, it appears they scraped the glue off as much as possible and painted over what they couldn?t get off. I?m very disappointed with my experience with Grove & Anderson. Will not be using them again nor will I refer them. I reached out to them in good faith. And trusting their service because of Angi. I am not pleased at all.

Abraham is very knowledgeable, professional, has great communication and goes above and beyond to deliver quality service. He was initially hired to just repair my kitchen cabinets. But I immediately hired him for additional work of repairing a leak and installation of a new attic access. I will definitely be using him for future home projects.
